Nothing to do with bleeding orange. Regardless of who the player is, a coach has to set a precedent, especially in our situation. Just my opinion, im done with this.

I'm fine with Dooley "setting a precedent," but if you allow him to come back, and he is the best option you have at RB, he will play considerable minutes. Bottom line. Otherwise, don't let him come back.

His hip was not right all season and got worse. He had it examined multiple times
He would not have been able to work out even if he wanted to. I want him healthy and I want him back.

Breaking News: Bryce Brown will forgo his Sophomore Season to chill in Kansas and then enter the 2011 draft.

Nah but fo real, what if? haha

Actually I heard the same thing and have had similar Hip muscle issues due to an SIjoint problem. It is not something that gets better quickly and he likely was physcically unable to do much of the spring activities if he wanted to get better. I think he is gone though eitherway.

Yup. Everyone says he didn't "live up to the hype" is crazy. He had a really bad hip, played behind a bad line, and was 2nd on the Depth Chart to the SEC's 2nd best back, and still ran for 500 yards.

Having said that, at some point, CDD needs to set a date to Brown and say "You decide by this date." You don't want this dragging into summer practice.

I may have missed it, but where did it say BB was the best RB we have??? I honestly don't think he is/was...I'm sure not going to take CLK's word for it.... Sure he can have another shot at the team if he honestly had issues, but I don't think he would be the starter.. That may be part of the reason he has came running back.. He may know that he isn't head and shoulder above the rest of the RBs..

BB isnt the best RB we have... How can you even say that when he only had like 400yrds and what 4 TDS? Maybe less? If he comes back he can EARN his way back to the top of the depth chart. If he doesn't then good luck some where else.

Did I miss something? You are saying that as if we have a player currently rostered that surpassed those numbers last year.

Because he was CLK's poster boy and CLK never gave anyone else a fair chance.. He would have been starting if he would have been as good as most people act like on here..CLK was knawing at the bit to make him the starter, but he never could and never would have been able to earn it against MH.. I don't think BB is better than Oku.. and I don't think Oku is better that Poole.. I'm not saying that BB is a terrible player.. He is good, really good, but he didn't get playing time because of his abilty alone.. He was going to be CLK's crown jewel... His Recruting pitch would have been "Look what I can do, Reggie at USC and BB at Tennessee".. The really sad part is that BB seems like a really good kid and all CLK did was use him..
