As far as I'm concerned:
(A) our tailbacks are Tauren Poole and David Oku
(B) Bryce Brown is a redshirt sophomore @ KSU

Prove me wrong Bryce. Prove me WRONG!

Does anyone think the impending collapse of the Big 12 may way on BB's decision?

if the Big 12 south minus Baylor plus Colorado heads to the Pac 10 and NEB and Mizzou head to the Big 10 then that leaves Baylor, Iowa State, Kansas, and K St. out in the cold w no conference....

All this should shake out this week...maybe that is what he is waiting for.

I asked the same question. Kstate is going to end up in a second tier conference.

It only seems to make sence...Kansas will probably get picked up by the Big East for basketball purposes leaving the other three to fall down to the WAC or MWC or something of that nature.

I would think that would be a big factor in my decision if it was me.

I am going to trust DD on this one...if he allows BB to come back great if BB is gone hate but all well

I think most of them should go into effect as soon as 2011 no?

Really? I figured it would be a couple of years because of schedules and arrangements made for the immediate future. Didn't it take about two or three years for VTech, Miami and BC to move over to the ACC? I know it took BC several years before moving over.

There's TV contracts and such that must be fulfilled by the conference as an entity. I think I've read that Big 12 and PAC 10 TV contracts will be up following 2011 season. I also think that there is a 27 month waiting period for a team to join a new league.

I don't know, though. I'm not as sold on these whole superconference shenanigans as most. I just don't see it happening right now.

This is about BB, not conference re-alignment, my man.

Just kidding.

One thing you can say about Bryce, he likes to take his time.

I don't want to rush him, but this is past the point of being ridiculous. There are a lot of people that say that he's being a drama queen, and I somewhat defended him. At this point, though, it's hard to look at the shenanigans that are occurring and come to any other conclusion.

No one will accuse you of that. :)

UT should give him and his dad all the time they want, in case they are still evaluating the playing time options at KSU and UT.

This is the thread that never ends yes it goes on and on my friends! Bryce Brown just missed spring practice not knowing what to do now we'll never know if he may go to KS freaking U SING ALONG... .Seriously go on! Make a freaking decision! There have been plenty of us that had to make decisions before we were really ready to. Get over it and man up!!!!!!!

He would have been very limited because of the hip. No contact. I do think he should have gone through some drills and definitely off season programs for sure(if he stays or not), but if the team understands and accepts his reasons then I don't have a problem with it.

See, this is what I keep going back to. If he was hurt and couldn't go through spring practice, that's one thing. However he was nowhere to be found on the field. He has not participated in any drills or off season workouts. He really has not associated himself with the team or the new staff at all. So please tell me again why we should even allow him to come back?

Honestly if I were Dooley, I would make this decision very easy for Bryce and tell him to get lost. We don't need this crap serving as nothing more than one big fat distraction. C'mon coach, serve him his walking papers!

I have pretty much said he is gone and not going to really think about it anymore....If by chance a miracle occurs and he comes back then good for him, If not then go away and learn how to get your butt kicked at Kansas St....We as UT fans embraced you when you got here and were happy you choose us but it appears you care about nothing but yourself and not what is good for the team....So tuck your tail and run away and lose a valuable season of eligibility....Hurry up and get it over with so these fans and your teammates can move on.

Well put.

Who's to say after sitting out a year, he doesn't like KSU and their brand of football. That would be something else. Or better yet continues to be injury prone and really never sees the field. I hope he chooses a good major.

I was thinking the same thing

Surely you don't actually hope that he keeps getting injuries/can't remain healthy enough to play.

If he stays here, I will be happy, and I hope he really lights it up next year. If he leaves, I hope he has a great career. I have nothing against him if he leaves; maybe he simply just wants to be closer to home. I can't hold that against him.
