BB was hurt most of last year and quit our team this year when we needed him most. Funny how you can be optimistic about BB, a Kiffin recruit, but not about DD. It's not the stats that vary it's the bias we use to filter them.

I don't think of BB as a Kiffin recruit. I think of him as a Vol.

i seriosuly dont think dooley is going to let his have a press conference...

this kid is unbeleivable... that whole family is drama...

This is getting old. BB is going to transfer people. He didn't even participate in spring practice. Please!!!! He is gone guys. Lets all get over it. If I'm wrong, and I hope I am, then I will eat crow later, but I don't think so. If this kid wanted to be a Vol he would have shown it by now. He's gone!

I have defended Bryce ever sence he left in the spring I really thought he was having personal issues. Then I realized this guy just wants attention. This is the same kid that wanted to play in the CFL and not go to college. BB is a drama queen and all he wants is attention. He was commited to Kiffin not UT. It hurts me to say this because he has so much talent, but I say let him go, good riddance

I don't want to lose a talented player but why waste time re-recruiting a kid when you are already behind on the next class. I think it was incredibly gracious of Dooley to even meet with Brown and his family.

Bryce....dude....seriously we've seen Ricky Williams. As an Phins fan from the 70's I had enough. If you wanna go back to Kansas st. and major in basket weaving fine ...just go...go...and get the hell out.

Is the dragging out of this situation a good thing or a bad thing for us?

When does this delay start to effect his ability to transfer to K State?

Tauren Poole has been in the wieght room everyday this week, FWIW.
Our starting tailback is working his rear off.

I don't understand why people think he is seeking attention or a drama queen. The only drama is on these sites which I doubt he reads. He is not on TV doing interviews or signing autographs in the mall. He is at home deciding his future. He wasn't going to practice in spring because of injury anyway. If the kid wants to be a Vol and the team is OK with it, we should welcome him back with open arms. He then will have to beat out Poole, Oku, and Williams. If he can do that, then he should be the starter.

Might have missed it, but that's first time I have read this being the reason for him missing SP.

He would have been very limited because of the hip. No contact. I do think he should have gone through some drills and definitely off season programs for sure(if he stays or not), but if the team understands and accepts his reasons then I don't have a problem with it.

I think BB would not only have to win the starting spot back, but he would also have to win his teammates over again. They might all say "Yeah, we're fine with what you did Bryce," but I can't honestly see how the other players could be able to look past the way BB handled all of this by not going to drills or workouts.

If BB wants and is committed to playing here, your team and staff are ok with bringing him back despite the fact that he missed Spring, and your team is better with him than without - to not welcome him back is nonsense.

Is Poole going to be any lesser of a back with BB on the roster, than not? No. So that's unimportant.

Will he be a cancer in the locker room? Not because of this, so long as he's committed, and the team and coaches are ok with him coming back.

Would this somehow diminish or prevent CDD's efforts toward the re-building of this program, or prove him somehow effective or incapable of being our head coach? No. No. And, no. But if CDD's characteristics in these areas were so wafer-thin as to be exposed by a single player who didn't know what he wanted to do, then you've certainly got a great many more - and far more serious - problems to worry about than BB being allowed back on the team.

I think any of us in BB's situation would probably do the same thing. Think about it, if your brother was going to transfer where you could play with him and your dad is (allegedly) lobbying for it as well, what would you do? I would give everything to have been able to play any sport with my brothers at a collegiate level. As it was, we all went to UT together and they weren't even recruiting us! I kinda hope he stays because i really like it when people choose TN. However, if he goes, fine. I got over Kiffin leaving within a few minutes and i would have to say the same about BB.

I would like to have had Jesse Scroggins in a Vol uniform, however. But i got over that one really fast as well.
