persanally i would love to see the brown brothers in orange. we need the players and they are very talented. if all dooley has to do to get bryce back is offer arthur, he would be crazy not to do so

Why even have a press conference? Whether he stays or goes, it's not really worthy of any type of production. Issue a press release and be done with it.

Yea I am with you. People are going to be back tracking big time when Bryce comes in and snatches the starting spot from Poole after week 1. Bryce was injured last year and will tear it up this year

Poole, Brown, Oku, etc...does not matter to me as long as we are successful. We don't know if Brown is even going to be a Vol. I can imagine if he is though a Poole, Brown backfield would be amazing.

For real, I brought it up because thats what my friend told me. I said he was normally right on things like this. I even said it had NO WEIGHT to it, it's not my fault yall put so much hope into it. I'm just tellin ya the news that comes my way.

So lets hope he's right!

I think they come, unless they demanded something and Dooley told them to hit the road.
I see K-State as one of the teams left out in the cold if the big conferences start the expansion ball rolling . Why risk losing a year and end up playing for a team with an uncertain conference future?

I just remembered last week how we were all waitin for june 1st. well its here, is it still on? Is he still holdin a press conference today? Any information is appriciated.
I know this might get merged, but, its worth a shot.

Who all thinks Brown will be the starter if he does stay? I personally think Poole beats him out and wins the starting job. Even though Brown will likely get a lot of carries, if that happens, will Brown end up leaving the program anyways? There was some speculation despite how much Brown played last year, he felt like he didn't get enough playing time.

I was thinking the exact same thing...What makes him so special as to hold a press conference??...All this primadonna stuff is getting ridiculous.....Poole has earned his playing time, Bryce is just demanding it....Rather have someone out there who is working hard to compete instead of only wanting attention...Make up your mind kid, are you a VOL or not?...There is no I in TEAM

Do we know for sure if there is going to be a press conference or is that just a rumor? If there truly is going to be one, that definitely plays in UT's favor. He's not going to have a press conference to announce he's transferring. If so, that would be very unusual.

Press conference?? To announce if a player is quitting the team or staying? That's ridiculous. Isn't Dooley in Destin anyways? At the most, he (DD) might mention something about it to the press if asked, but this does not deserve a freaking press conference. This thread/saga makes me want to pull up Iverson's infamous "practice" quote, and interchange "practice" w/ "press conference".

I hope he stays, and think we could use the extra help at LB w/ AB, but most of you need to chill out. If he stays or if he goes, the sun is still gonna rise tomorrow and we're still gonna be Tennessee. No one player (or 2 for that matter) is bigger than the program. Go Vols!
