Bryce Brown decision (merged)

Will Bryce Brown return to play (be listed on a gameday roster) for Tennessee?

Are you kidding me? You same folks sayin CDD should pass on the package deal will be the same ones calling for his head in a year when we arent winning jack crap bc we dont have enough bodies on the field. Do you people realize how short on personnel we really are at this point?

IMO adding both Browns would be a Godsend for CDD and NO I dont blame the kid for being confused and upset after the coaching staff that recruited him here, which he came here to play for, jumped ship in the middle of the night on him. He was probably feeling a lot like the rest of us without the continuing loyalty to UT that we all have as he is not from here and probably has never really thought of himself as a Vol until coach moron convinced him to come here a year ago. Ultimately, his first love is his family and he feels betrayed by what K did to him. At least give the kid a break, consider what he has been through, and if playing with his little brother makes him happy, let it happen.

Personally, I cannot see CDD having an attitude about this. He has worked with kids this age for his entire career and he understands that they do not think like adults sometimes. He will forgive and forget and I can guarantee you the rest of the team will be happy to have the both of them playing here rather than at KState. They want to win too, and not in 3 years when their time is over.

i won't get all fired up either way, but it wouldn't surprise me if AB came here. i seriously doubt CDD will reject them if their family decides they'd like both boys to be at UT.

I was wondering.

Since we got a commitment from Gooch will we still have a scholarship spot for Arthur? Or was he coming next year?

I'm not getting where this article gets that DD has said he wouldn't allow Brown back on the team. He has publicly said on more than one occasion that he wouldn't "re-recruit" Brown (IOW's pursue him and try to persuade him). He said he had told him why he thought UT was his best option and left the door open for him. He said it was ultimately up to the team but thought they would accept him.

If the two of them are ready come in, work for their keep, and fit in as team players then there's no good reason not to let them.

A lot of (not all) people think that we offered Nance to get a package deal with Rogers..I wouldn't suprise me a bit if we did a 2 for 1 deal...

I would assume that is the case more often than not on most threads. I would speculate most don't know and a couple really want to think they do.

They beat UF on defense and special teams TDs in what was it 05 or 07?

im sorry but i would like bryce to just leave already. im so sick of his bs. hes a little cry baby that just wants attention. it all started in high school with his "mentor" and him pushing his announcing date back to create dramatic effect. and if he wants to whine about playing time get over it. MH was a stud and he was lucky he got as many carries behind him. nobody cares bryce no matter how much you want us to. just leave. poole wants to be here and has stuck it out and waited his turn.
