Not to be a jerk about it, but didn't Mr. Manning have one his junior year? I'm quite sure he did because I watched it and was elated when he said he was coming back.

Um yeah, but thats Peyton Manning. And we were also winning at that time so people cared a little more about UT. Not so much now.

Hyams just said Bryce was involved with some sort of team gathering this weekend and the team greeted him warmly. Also said BB has NOT asked for his release and he WANTS to be a Vol but is being pressured by his dad to return to Kansas. Hyams thinks BB will remain a Vol.

Sounds like a radio gimmick to get listeners to me.

This is what I suspect. I don't think BB will swing by or anything, and I think it will be more of a "review of the events up to this point" type segment, followed by... you guessed it... speculation!

Maybe I am wrong though and BB will come in on a jet pack, spelling out "V, B!" with his vapor trail and an impromptu dance party will break out at Wild Wing's.

his requirements to be met will be very high to climb back up. I'm not so sure he will be willing...

I doubt he supplants Poole, but I could see him finding his way into the top 3 rotation at some point in the season.

I'm just speculating though, I don't have any information.

dont get ahead of yourself...BB aint going in his junior year unless he shows up and is the next chris johnson.

he has shown to be un trustworthy..

and if I might add, I think you critics should lay off BB. This isn't a brett favre deal or a lebron deal - I think he's faced a tremendous number of challenges between his injurie(s), concussions, sudden coaching changes, and ultimately he wants to be a vol and is working towards getting back there. So as much as we want to know what's going on, we will find out when it's time. There's no drama besides the crap in these threads.

Yeah, that scared me a little when you said "team gathering" Last time i heard that...

Sounds like there are some family factors as well, and maybe a girlfriend factor.

We need 3-4 running backs so Welcome Back Bryce. I'm sure you will earn your playing time and all backs will be better due to the competition. Dooley has made no promises like Kiffen did.

The link to listen to the radio station is below:

WNML-AM

Once the page loads, on the upper righthand side of the page is a button that says "LISTEN NOW."

Just click the button and it will start talking. Source says Bryce is possibly going over to Wild Wings (where they are broadcasting live from) at around 4:30PM EST.

The official announcement is tomorrow.

Just curious, is source the radio station manager or Wild Wings manager?

Since Brown is back, how many rb's are we taking in the '11 class??? We gonna call it a day with Smith or what?

If he does come back, it allows you to take one less that you otherwise would've, regardless of exactly what that number turns out to be. And that's important. All of these guys we've added after signing day have reduced the need somewhere and gotten us closer to having our full 85 scholarship limit of players. Gooch, Darr, Jackson, Brewer, and I'd include Brown if back.

Do that again next year and you've plugged the 10 scholarship or so hole that we have had (understand that there has been and may yet be new attrition that would move the bar). Getting 85 legit scholarship players on roster as quickly as possible is very important to getting 'back' sooner rather than later.

Interesting, CFL just mentioned the situation and phrased it as "...scheduled to meet with Tennessee Coach Derek Dooley...trying to get back on the field." Just thought that was an interesting way to phrase it.
