The miami mod on the other site thinks that Bryce liked some things about his UT visit, but didn't like other things. He doesn't think UT is a major player.

We will find out in a couple of weeks if UT is player or not.:)

I'm going to try to be positive but I'm not going to hold my breath that he comes to UT.

Most are penning him as the next Reggie Bush, but even if he's nothing more than the next Tony Dorsett, I'd be okay with that. :p

My main point was....233 pages on a kid who has NEVER played a down of college football is dumb. Lets see what he is first.

I want him in UT orange as much as the next person, but......his issues seem to concern me.

BB, make up your mind already. This is not Kansas HS Football. This is big time college football. You are a no one until you prove it on the field.

Greg Cote's Random Evidence of a Cluttered Blog

Blog exclusive: UM no longer a player in Bryce Brown soap opera: The Kansas running back who is the nation's No. 1 prep football recruit has eliminated the University of Miami from contention barring a dramatic change of mind, a source familiar with the decision process told us this (Thursday) morning. The source, who is close to the family, said Oregon and now hometown Kansas State look like the finalists, although Brown (pictured) will visit LSU in a few days prior to announcing his decision. A UM source confirmed what I'd heard, saying, "We're out of it." Miami had grown tired of waiting on Brown's decision but had not, contrary to reports, rescinded its offer. Brown is a sizable loss to what looks otherwise like an excellent recruiting class, although the loss is mitigated by UM having recruited three highly recruited backs earlier this month.

there are many people saying that BB is bound for U, that its a done deal because he still has an offer on the table after all the drama with Shannon supposedly pulling it.

I must say that it makes sense.

I am not speculating anymore on this kid. If we get him great, if we don't that is fine too. I do find it hard to believe that KSU is in the picture, if this article has any credibility.

Lacey if you are on here, it sounds like you have some more work to do.

According to Lacey they are now referred to as BRACEY. :)

Also, there is some serious competition from two Miami hostess' named Hannah and Kaitlin. Every day there is a video from Lacey and then a follow up from one of the Miami girls...who knows, but it is keeping me entertained.

Also, it appears that Bryce is a huge Duke basketball fan. I don't know what this has to do with anything, but I am bored and thought I would share.

I had to share this with you guys....it seems as though some bama fans are calling sports talk shows and tell the story that CLK took BB to Gatlinburg. On the ride back BB threw a pecan log out the window and hit a passing car. What the purpose of this story is or what they hope to accomplish is beyond me.

Wow. Grasping at straws.

It could be a secondary violation if he threw the pecan log out the driver's side window. The NCAA may not mind if it is thrown out the passenger's side.

If Bryce Brown (on topic) actually saw the pecan log would he think it was a gun? If so we have a whole new set of problems.

If Brown was taken to Gatlinburg on his official, it'd be somewhat big recruiting violation.

With that said, that didn't happen. It was from some joke parody article someone wrote.

I love conspiracies and I want to note that the Vol football players are coming out of the woodwork to be BB's friend on facebook.

lol, i guess the internet is slower in bama. i read this supposed blog from a recruit that visited UT here at volnation...about a month and a half ago...i think at the time it was Tana Patrick, though.

i cant believe anyone actually believes it. it was even circulating on knox radio talk shows yesterday.

It's not like bammers know the difference between fiction and fact.

If they get a secondary violation out of this, they'll probably claim a second national championship this year without a play being played yet (the first being the one they got for the top recruiting class they made with players they weren't confident enough they could keep if they visited UT).

found the thread. cant link it because i am mobile, but just do a search for ober and the thread title is "response to recruiting trip" or something like that.

Ok guys. I am the source for the Pecan Log Conspiracy. I pulled up next to them and asked if they had a pecan log. They said yes and rolled down the window to hand it to me. Unfortunately the light turned green so I just yelled "toss it over." I guess some Bammers were behind me ha ha.

This pecan log thing has to be the funniest thing I have ever heard. I am sure we can make some stuff up about Bammers and boiled peanuts.

I'm stupefied that some "moran" from bammer actually believed that obviously facetious story. They really are as dumb as advertised down there in the American rectum.
