Bryce Brown (CLOSED)

I don't like Miles, I can't stand to hear his yankee talk, but I grudgingly respect how he coaches, showing the guts to take lots of chances which often work out well, but bring howls from the LSU community when his gambles blow up in his face.

What?

They havent even coached a game

get a clue

Let me rephrase for you so that you might understand. I'll start from the beginning...."gave it a good run", is a popular phrase for describing someone giving a good effort. For example, "VolsNSkinsFan gave it a good run when he tried to comment on what 'giving a good run' means. However, it is above his intelligence level."

Now, since this is thread about a particular recruit, Bryce Brown, I was using "gave it a good run" (see above paragraph if you are still confused) to describe how UT's staff gave a good effort in recruiting him. I was simply stating that I believe it will be a foregone conclusion (I can explain what that means if need be) that Bryce Brown, the recruit in question, will be attending LSU next fall.

I know I threw a lot at you at once, but if you take it line by line (left to right, top to bottom, piece words together to make a sentence) you will understand I never said anything about them doing well in a game situation. Therefore, the line "they haven't coached a game yet" holds no merit to this conversation. I hope this helped make things a little clearer for you, and if you need further assistance in understanding the written word, I suggest the following website.

Les Miles is an idiot, but he can recruit with the best. Very few times do kids leave Baton Rouge without LSU being in their top 3. I really wish it wasn't true, but this kid will be signed, sealed, and delivered to the Bayou Bengals this weekend. There is just WAY too much talent there for this kid to pass up. I think LSU is going to be THE dominant force in NCAA for the next few years. It was definitely a good run by our staff though.
while I appreciate your clever little English lesson above in helping everyone understand your final sentence, the penultimate sentence is completely at odds with the first sentence and reality.

wow see no morely you are a ray of sunshine this morning

I think BPV just summed it up nicely

yep lets pack our bags on BB cause he is going to visit LSU, game over, we suck

Wow, this is fun. However, I am somewhat confused by your last remark. Are you referring to the penultimate sentence in my first post, or my last post? Or perhaps, you were referring to VolsNSkins' post. Your comment lacks enough context clues for me to make this deduction on my own. I'm sure you sympathize with my puzzlement. You seem educated enough. I mean, you did use "penultimate" and "at odds" in a sentence.

That's neither here nor there. What I really want to know is what "aiya" means, and why I would want to "throw my hands" into it.

If you're too stupid to deduce which post I'm alluding to, disregard all after clever.

I had no problem comprehending that the good run statement means the poster was giving Lane and Co. props for going so hard after him, but is assuming we don't have a chance.

You're right. My mistake. You've stifled me. As I'm sure you have many posters before me with in your......wait, 27,251 POSTS!?!?! That's a joke, right? You can not be proud of that.....or employed for that matter.

Is this really your response? I have a lot of posts so I must be a joke or unemployed. By the by, you might check that post count again, seems to me you struggle with math.

To be honest, I haven't gotten a W-2 in several years so I guess that I am, in fact, unemployed. However, I get to thank God daily that I'm unemployed somewhere other than Memphis.

Back to the topic at hand, your witty little retort sent us back to a paragraph that made no sense. Can you help with that or not?

That's your defense? You came out so strong out of the box that I expected more from you.

post envy? I guess you're an "it's what you do with it guy"?

See me no morely,
You better hope that BB doesn't ask Coach O or Janzen Jackson for advice when chosing between UT and LSU. I mean they were both "locks" to be swamp rats, weren't they?
If I was and LSU fan, there is no way I would be on a UT board claiming anyone would chose LSU of UT. Not after this year.

Didn't mean to let you down Bill, but I have limited time to conjure up responses at work. I'm flying off the top of my head right now.

It's possible that bigpapa's post count has caused see me no Morley to back off.
my post count did exactly jack. He bowed up on someone who misunderstood, while the post he was holding up as a beacon of light was actually a simple piece of garbage.

When the debate trickles down to post counts and such, one party has raised the flag.
