If you could read you would have seen it posted everywhere. Somebody needs to start a thread that Brown took a crap today.

Read before you post and then you will not have to post.

What? Are you the thread starter police? I don't see the title of "Mod" under your name anywhere.

You do have control of your key board and mouse correct? You can choose to not click on the link. Notice the sarcasm?

I love it when guys log onto a new post and the only informative thing they can say is.....FIRST! ugg, makes me wanna shoot somebody.

I didn't know about this article....so don't worry about it OP. I don't have a prob with people trying to keep everyone up to date. It's just fashionable to try and make people look stupid on this board.

I believe he goes to LSU. Could be wrong but right now it's between us, Oregon and LSU and if he really like us or Oregon enough he would have commited already. Maybe he won't be to fond of LSU (which most people aren't) but right now, all LSU needs is a decent visit and they got him. I could be wrong, and i probably am but with this guy nobody knows what he's truly thinking outside of Brian Butler.

I'd say it's hard to put LSU in the top 3 until he actually takes his visit so I'm not sure how you can narrow it down now.

Does that mean I think LSU will not be in the top 3? No - but a lot can happen on a visit - he hasn't even seen BR so he may hate it.

Listen, the mods do a GREAT job on this site. I mean it. I've checked out several other schools sites and none compare. But I just don't get some of these guys waiting to yell: 1. Merge 2. Link? 3. Any other smart comment (see Sudden Impact) 4. Rod Wilks (thou shalt not use his name in vain) 5. Phil jokes 6. KiffEn 7. etc.

Come on guys, let's just enjoy the fruits of Freak's labor! Way to go MODS!

Bryce Gives Tennessee High Marks
2/17/2009
Last Weekend Bryce Brown visited Lane Kiffin, and the Tennessee Volunteers and had nothing but high praises for the Vols'. "The players and the coaches are fired up down there. I could tell that they are working hard to battle for the SEC title".

Bryce talked about spending time with the Jim Chaney, Offensive Line Coach, "We talked about how they are going to block different run plays. We also talked about the impact that Coach Kiffin had with the Oakland Raiders over the past couple of years, as well as his NFL experience with the St. Louis Rams". The offensive linemen impressed Bryce too saying, "All of the linemen there met in the morning on their own time and they were working their butts off." "One of them told me that regardless of who's behind them, they're going to rush for at least a 1,000 yards. I really liked their confidence and work ethic. I believe that the more you work the more successful you will be." When asked about his meeting with Coach Lane Kiffin, Bryce said,"It went very well, you can feel the passion that he has to make UT champions again. He already has proven that he is one of the best offensive minds in football. Coach Kiffin made a big impression on me."

One of the highlights of his trip was the other Coach Kiffin though. "Coach Monte Kiffin is high energy and hilarious, you can see why he's been so successful over the years with the Buccanneers. He really made me feel at home and I enjoyed him. For him to come to Tennessee and support his son in this way shows me alot about him and Tennessee's commitment to winning," said Bryce.

Bryce said that the Volunteers will be in it to the end, when he announces on March 16, 2009 at the Kansas Hall of Fame, in Wichita, KS.

i get the feeling hes gonna go to ksu :(

If you've ever been to Manhattan, you'd wonder why. The place is in the middle of nowhere and smells like a mix of a tire fire and dairy farm. Probably the worst B12 college town.

Snyder is thisclose to endorsing Life Alert. He won't be around long.

Rivalas is now reporting that Brown did not take a crap today and is waiting to crap sometime next week.

Butler has advised Hyams that He has not decided yet if he is going to let Bryce number two at this point and at which point he decides number two is reasonable there will be a press confrence including sound bites. My fellow John Rocker fans will appreciate that.

Translation- im going somewhere else but the UT hat will be on the table.
Wish we could get him. The LSU visit is very scary.

Seems as though you have grasped the nuances of the recruiting folks, oh what the hell, the entire board. Good job... :clapping:

Where is Brown going? In your opinion.

I really don't know. He has done a good job at keeping his cards close.

He hasn't said anything disparaging about Oregon and has put them as "ahead" a couple times. In candid remarks he has expressed reservations about UT and Miami. But, nothing I would say rules any possibility out.

My impression is that he wants to go to Oregon. But, is getting pressure from his parents to go to Miami or at least look at other options as well.

I don't think Miami is the best fit for him. But, A lot of things make them an easier choice to make. His brother, his dad wanting him to go there, being the last official, having already verbally committed... Given the history of recruits tending to go where their parents would like them to, I would say that he ends up at Miami, if I had to place a wager.

The Little Apple is more like the little town that no one cared about. Can't imagine why anyone would volunteer to go there.

That is about the smartest thing you have said on this board. His mother would like him close to home KU/KSU. I have now not ruled them out because of it. Interestingly enough his parents who have been in the background the for the most part of his recruitment are now speaking. Again, another interesting turn of events.

I think they are all feed up with the process and want it over except for Butler.

He has openly said nothing bad about any program to date. He has narrowed it down and he wants to see at LSU and Miami.

I do not believe Oregon in as strong a people think because they were in it from the first day along with Miami. He will not end up at Oregon because it was over with when he went on his visit to Tennessee.

Bottom Line Miami or close to home anything else is meaningless.

This is all for naught if he has already signed with Tennessee which is a possiblity.

Coaches do talk and USC did not want to be standing at the alter looking like a jilted lover. Thinking that is why USC pulled out and Miami created the hoopla and called his hand.

Father wants him to honor orginial commitment, Mom wants him close to home and Bulter wants control of the decision so that Bulter benefits from the decision.

If you told me an OU grad (Nike) had cut a deal with Butler in support of his organization I would have to believe that is where Butler would throw his influence.

not really. He has had a date set to commit for a while. If it wasn't for that, he might have already comitted. plus rex was saying earlier that he heard brown will be a vol.
