After reading what he said about TN not having good enough players to run Kiffin's system, I don't think we have much of a chance with him. Hopefully we can still get Oku.

It's funny that Brown is thinking about UT about 2-3 weeks before NSD and then Oku really starts to waiver. You know what those two occurances have in common?? Butler.

Yeah, there's too much smoke not to be fire with this one. BB has some cards up his sleeve he will play this weekend. Hopefully the suit of those cards is coonskinned.

He's a Duck or Tiger, IMO. Unless he is setting a smoke screen before his visit, it doesn't look good for the Vols.

he is saying too much negative for someone who scheduled their visit out of nowhere. BB doesn't owe Lane or any others on the staff a courtesy visit. Plus we have the best staff of recruiters in the nation, so if anyone was gonna sway him it would be us.

He really wants to end his recruitment and i wouldn't be surprised to see it end Saturday.

He was high on us somewhat, and now says we don't have the horses to do what Lane wants to do on offense. He is digging LSU now because of their depth chart. If he comes to UT, so be it. If he doesn't, I will be glad to see his and Oku's recruitment end no matter where either one end up. Both have been circuses and honestly I would look for the NCAA to look into what has transpired in Brown's recruitment with Butler being his pimp. I doubt we see our coaches go after a situation like this again. I believe the only reason we are entertaining Brown is solely because he is the #1 prospect in the nation and would be a statement for future commits.

True, in my book they have accomplished plenty more than expected with this class. Anyone that was expecting more isn't in touch with reality.

The Fulmerites expected a Top 5 class with us finishing out of the polls yet again next season. So much for expectations. :)

As far as our class goes, it was a success even without the guys who are currently out there.

That's one reason I don't want us to sign Brown. There's just too much here for the NCAA to try and come after in an investigation, IMO. Oku isn't as deep in or should I say wasn't until recently. Butler is playing one against another trying to leverage for both. I don't like the situation nor the man pimping out these recruits.

What about Arthur Brown and Miami? What about the kids that worked with Butler this year and are now at Kansas/Oklahoma/Nebraska.

why are none of those 4 programs sweating it? lots of programs offered these guys and it didn't seem to bother any of those schools.

Why the hell would he go to LSU, when he could come in a get the #1 spot at UT...Doesn't LSU still have Holliday and some other freaks?

This Kid would be an awesome get, but he scares me to death. Rumors floating about is brother shopping him in the CFL. He has got violation written all over him. IMO.

Lsu got loads of backs but I guess he thinking Randle, Shepard and him on the field at the same time. Randle #1 WR Fresh. Shepard #1 ath and Brown #1 Rb. That has the potential to be quite scary if they live up to the hype

Lsu did not lose any Rb's this year. They still have Charles Scottt and Keeland Williams both startes last from last year and finally Richard Murphy was suppose to be really good. They did sign Lane was suppose to be a star.
