taped interview with BB and Crabtree on rivals, and when crabtree says thet BB didnt seem to exited about his UT trip, i would have to agree with him. BB said when he talked to kiffin, kiffin was talkin about reggie bush and lendale white, and BB liked that part, but BB basically said he doesnt think that UT has the kind of players to become a USC caliber team

and he thinks oregon does?

haha i really dont no what hes thinkin, it also seemed as if he thinks Kansas state has a better chance than us, i dont think he has any clue what he wants to do or any clue what tennessee football is all about, but he will soon find out, i think we can really sway him this weekend

i think Miami is basically out, he didnt seemed to thrilled with the new OC, my bet is he goes to Oregon/UT/USC in that order

AMP: Bryce Brown breaks it down - Rivals.com Video link to interview, it might be for subscribers only idk

Billy likes to drink milk. Ms. Lippy's car is green.

This will be a tough sell.

UT does not in his world have the caliber of players to enable him to do the things he needs to do offensively.

Doesn't seem to want to be the feature of the offense and feels at UT that he will be and therefore all the responsibility rests on his shoulders on whether the team makes or breaks it. Jeez.

So the only team that he is looking at that would not feature him is USC.

I do not see Oregon, Miami, or Tennessee with the weapons on offense to do what he is talking about without featuring him in some capacity. That is what Killin is going to have to sell.

I still think from the exposure point of view he has the greatest potential here at UTK. What is it about Oregon that keeps them high in his perspective. Kinda glazes over Miami in the interview and knows nothing about LSU. Did not mention Auburn.

I personally believe he will get the best shot for the Pros in the SEC and at UT versus the rest, but I guess I am bias. Still think Kiffin has a tough sell this weekend.

What is it about Oregon?

Maybe one of the many points I made earlier in this thread. :D

Sounds like, so far, Brown agrees with me.

Go back to your corner and suck your thumb. We are not going into a lame a@@ discussion about how great oregon is in CF.

I'm just discussing the topic of the thread and the latest revelation that Brown sees himself as a Duck and doesn't think UT has the players needed for Kiffin to execute the USC/Reggie Bush offense.

BB will not go to Oregon for the football tradition or history of the running backs. He will go there to COAST through weak defenses to get to the pros in one to two years.

The worst thing you can do is to talk this crap. I would wait until the visit was over before I ranted and raved about BB. I said it would be a tough sale but if I believe Kiffin and staff will be able to pitch it better than most. Do not get cocky we do have more than one person selling this program to these kids with fairly high credentials. Something you do not know or fail to realize.

Nobody cares about oregon except people in oregon.

And Kansas, apparently.

Isnt there an Oregon forum where you can go hang out?

Yes.

That's not what this is about. I simply defended Oregon's program when others here were talking crap. Talk about cocky statements. This thread is full of them. So, don't get all worked up if I defend myself by pointing out that Brown says some of the same things I have.

The whole thing isn't over. Brown could go anywhere, including Tennessee.

National Championships past 11 years.

SEC 6
PAC 10 - 1

Hah! I thought that crap-talking was the worst thing to do? ;)

How many of those NCs is UT responsible for with their current staff and players?

If Kiffin finds a way to double the rushing production at UT in terms of yards and touchdowns, it still won't be as many as Oregon had last year.

You are aware that when directly if BB can "see himself playing at UT", his answer was "Yes" and "I feel like UT would allow me to use my versatility and use me in the passing game". "I really bought into it". Right?

What he said about Oregon, he said about UT last week. So don't think Oregon somehow has something no one else does.

UT's defense ranked sixth in total defense at the end of the year, yes ucla did move the ball, but that was the first game, they could have been #1 at the end if we had any kind of offense, our d was on the field 3/4 of the game and was ranked 6TH, shutup ur ignorant

Come on guys...who wouldnt want to play for Oregon? Walking out on that field in their diamond plated green uniforms. Wow...sends chills down my spine.

I can see why he'd want to go to Oregon though. Best facilities in the country, insane home stadium, would easily be the 2nd best team in the conference right away, with a chance to knock off USC in the next couple years, and he'd be the focal point of the most prolific rushing offense in the country.

spot on assessment. i love his honesty, but it does not sound good for us. there is no smoke machine that can change his opinion on our talent, this weekend. i really, no REALLY hope he doesnt go to visit LSU. sounds like he wants to be a Trojan. that sucks.
