74 Jarrod Shaw OT 6/4 330 So. Lafayette, La. (Northside)

79 Chris Scott OT 6/5 310 Jr. Riverdale, Ga. (Lovejoy)

With 2 OL in this signing class....that brings the total to eleven.

Richard, McClendon and Scott are the only ones on that list who have seen any significant playing time...and they're all gone after this year

the video game industry. Why have the parents let this leech manipulate their son for his own gain? It's very wrong, obviously wrong.

Why is it assumed that he was manipulated? It might just as well be that Brown feels like Butler has helped him out and doesn't mind trying to help in return.

I don't see any evidence that Butler has done anything to hurt Brown in any way. I don't really see any reason for people to object to Butler charging for information on Brown unless they also object in principle to all recruiting info services.

1)Forgot Josh McNeil.

2)Richard, McClendon, Scott, and McNeil graduate next year.

Just saw an brief but interesting segment on ESPN about Bryce Brown opting to go to the CFL. Something regarding this may already be posted but an analyst pointed out the his supposed 3 year $5 million contract offer wouldn't work out to well since the salary cap for the whole team is a little over $4 million. Bryce needs to drop this manager immediately and attend college. Whether it be UT or somewhere else. It would be much better for his career if he intends on playing in the NFL.

I'd love to see this happen and a trend begin. There's no need to have a kid in class that doesn't want to be there. The NCAA has been a minor league farm system for too long. It will also solve many of the character issues college teams have to deal with and allow more deserving student-athletes in the classroom. There are many top players that actually want to attend college.

I agree. I have always thought that we would eventually see kids go to the CFL for three years and then declare for the NFL draft. If a kid doesn't want to go to college, the CFL makes alot of sense.

Bryce Brown himself personally squashed this rumor.

Hey guys, Just spoke to Bryce on Facebook (dont hammer me), but he said he is still planning on visiting us this weekend.

Why hasn't his visit been confirmed online anywhere?

Because he's not taking interviews with the douche media, and who can blame him? ESPN breaks a story about him going to the CFL a full week and a half after it was first mentioned. And a full week after he discussed how that was ridiculous and completely blown out of proportion. The only people he is talking to are radio shows and blogs run by the fans...and I love him for that. We've all seen the last few weeks just how retarded the media can be.

Brand new BMW.

And with that, I have 1000 posts.
