crusse10....ease up bro. Your ex-rapper "mentor" is also a preacher. It does seem like he is taking advantage of some grey areas of the NCAA rules. Regardless of your outlook, Bryce Brown did not and I'll repeat it for you, DID NOT, get that #1 player in the country beside his name by being a slacker. I'll take this new staff's judgment over yours, fwiw.

Yeah he did. Ryan mallet made jimmy look overrated in the AA game. After watching casey and rick those years, there just wasn't any way he was going to be much better. Glad he's wasting away at ND, couldn't have happened to a more arrogant, overhyped guy.

If he was a Cane, then why doesn't he sign after his vacation??? It's because he is NOT a Cane, and is deciding to take visits when it would be easy for him to just go ahead and sign.

Yea it is kinda strange.

My prediction
Oku-Vol (Oku will be persuaded once he finds out Brown isn't coming)
Brown-Miami (because of his bro, correct me if im wrong)
Charles-UGA (because his highschool teammate Aaron Murray signed with UGA)

I think the deciding factor with Brown is his brother. Maybe im wrong. Maybe they don't get along and he decides to go elsewhere (UT.) Its hard to say. I think Kiffin knows that Brown really likes UT and has given Oku ample time to see what happens. So many likely scenarios to think about

Whether we get him or not, it is still amazing that we were able to get him on a visit this late on the game.

His bro told him not to come to Miami. He said that the program was not headed in the right direction and something about the players not being treated well.

Im on the same page as well. I think next year will be something special. It's hard to imagine that Fulmer would of been in the mix for not only one of these guys but all 3!

I'm really surprised by this. And to be honest with you, I think losing Marlon Brown wasn't Kiffin's fault. It simply came down to the fact that we didn't have an answer at QB. It's as simple as that.

And not getting a QB this year really will benefit us in the future.....Think about it like this. If we could get Tajh Boyd to commit this year w/o even seeing what a Kiffin style offense has to bring, just imagine the possibilities if Kiffin has success w/ his offense at UT.

I really think that UT will be much more COMPETITIVE this year than they were last year. As we all know that will hinge tremendously on our QB play, which I think will be fine, and I see the Vols winning at least 8 games next year. Which would be a success with Kiffin, given what Saban did at Bama his first year, and what Rich Rodriguez did at Michigan his first year.
