I have a question about Brown. What kind of competition is he playing against? His highlight films look like a man against boys. If that is against top competition....just wow.

I just think it is crazy there are journalists (i use that term lightly) out there that are calling for Kiffin to be fired. He hasn't even coached a game yet and he is still able to recruit his tail off. He is brining in the No. 1 player in the country for a visit - that is worth it right there.

And if Kiffin can coach at all - which I believe he can - he could end up being the best coach in the SEC.

These "journalists" should hold their judgment before they have egg on their face

Good point. Just getting the kid to come for a visit, after NSD, should show people that CLK and staff are doing something right to even get this consideration. Hope they're able to sway him.

It is 1A football in Kansas, so obviously weak competition. However, with that said he looked pretty damn good in the Army game and that is against some good talent.

Does anybody else get confident that he knows he's coming to visit us but has no idea where else he wants to visit?

The only journalist I have seen say this is very anti-UT to put it lightly. I have got to the point where if his name is on the article, I won't read it. Anybody to call for a coach to be fired before he even coaches a game, should be fired as a writer by their company.

no doubt that our staff will have the full court press on this kid come this weekend. When it comes down to recruiting a kid on an even playing field, there is no staff I would trust more than our own.

He has taken unofficials to Miami & K-State already. He has been there enough to not need to see either campus again.

I would like him to visit Auburn; I know that sounds like playing with fire---but I'd rather have him visit their campus over UGA/LSU/USC/Miami.


Don't expect a verbal pledge or LOI this weekend. He wants to have a fast to think through his decision. I like the fact that he hasn't been anywhere recently and is taking his final visit two weekends later. Miami's spring practice starts around that time, so that could mean he's looking to go there for the 28th.

PAINT THE ROCK

Lane told BB that he wants to build the offense around him. Paint the rock with "Lane Kiffin's Offense" in a circle with "B.B." in the center.

Anyone is welcome to add to this idea......or not.
