Hey guys, new poster here. I have a real good friend of mine who is a huge Gator fan who posts and reads a lot of stuff on rivals. The other day I told him that I hoped we get Bryce Brown. He replied back saying that we shouldn't want him. He said he was reading a lot of posts by Cane fans on their boards and they all said that they were sick and tired of him. Also his "mentor" has a couple websites dedicated to his recruitment and that he charges people for information on his recruitment. All in all, he and all of the Cane fans say he and his mentor are pains in the a**, and that they could care less if Bryce doesn't end up a Cane. He also said that if we get him, we better keep him happy or he will be a problem during his tenure here. Say what you like, but I trust his opinion on recruits a great deal because he keeps up with everything more than anybody I know. Besides, we are pretty well set at running back for the next few years.

After hearing him on the radio yesterday, I seriously doubt he will be a problem

He has all the leverage right now. When he signs that LOI that goes out the door. He pretty much signs his life away and if he wants to be a problem he can transfer and lose a year in D-1 or go to D-2. Let him have his fun now with the process and wonce he decides what to do these Shananagans (spelling? I never wona spelling bee)will be done.

Confirmed visits by media outlets at this point are very questionable. A lot of the guys we got on campus the last 2 wks. were not reported until the last minuet. Sounds like he is very interested and is visiting.

Do you really think Kiff would let a "mentor" of a player call the shots? Rest assured Kiff will lay down the law.

na $hit......it was through facebook. all i asked was he visiting tennessee and he say yes.......my sources said it was next weekend. Then on the radio show bryce confirmed it. So if you wanna bash me, Screw you. I was just doing my part to get info to Volnation.

My sources was the 1st to tell me about that too. If my sources have not show to you that they are reliable then that is truely sad.

I had one thread on VQ, there is like 15 or so over there. I am just wanting brent or someone to say that Bryce is coming so some ppl over here and there would shut up and see he is really coming.

Matt is just trying to give us all information we are on here looking for! If you do not want to believe the info you find in these post, then why in the world are you looking through them in the first place. Time is the only thing that will truly give us all a concrete answer, but all of us like to get differnet points of views from some really great Vol fans! I have followed the VN post for a many years now and just recently joined, so if my comments are out of line I do apologize.

I believe what matt is talking about is an interview that was conducted with Bryce Brown. In that interview it is said that Brown has 2 visits remaining. One is going to be with USC and the other to UT.

Heard it for myself. It is the real deal

Ya think we can keep this thread about the player and not this petty internet squabble? There's private messages for this garbage.

Bryce Brown doesn't need anyone on Facebook that doesn't know him sending him messages and trying to get him to come to Tennessee. That's just weird and way too involved unless you work in the athletics department, specifically football operations, for the University of Tennessee.

This goes for any player really. It's just weird.

Ok, guys this is what I heard on the talk show everyone is talking about.

Right now, what im getting out of the interview is mainly speculation. To me Bryce Brown used the word "probably" going to make a visit next weekend. Take that for what its worth. That isn't a definate, but he does seem to like Kiffin.

So, now that I hear the program I do feel better about our chances and getting a visit from him.
