Bryce Brown (CLOSED)

B/c this was supposed to be a quiet visit. He was not happy at all that the rumor got out. Tennessee's best bet as a fanbase and school is to downplay it and do their best to let him and his father come in to little or no fanfare and handle their business.

Whether you agree with him or not, if you want him, that's probably the best route to take.

OK, it's my first, and the last post in this thread. I wanted to help make VN quieter, but I just couldn't help to post.

:):)

For anyone to say that Bryce Brown would immediately be our best player offensively without him ever stepping on the practice field is a bit ridiculous. Unless he's the next Jamal Lewis, he'll be lucky to see 20% of the carries this season.

Hardesty and Creer seem to get pushed aside with this Oku and Brown talk. That's all well and good if those two are beast runningbacks and they take the jobs and run.

Predicting that Oku and Brown would be our best players in March is the equivalent of cheering for getting a 1st down.

You are in the know on many issues. For you to keep your mouth shut for the sake of a scoop speaks volumes for your cred. Dont sweat it bro. You have a bright future ahead.

::eek:bviousfulmeritegibberish::

Jamal Lewis couldn't even see 20% of the carries until after Florida 1997...

alright, staying on topic, clearly i hope bryce goes to ut, but i think no ones knows where hes going or even leaning. not even himself. sure we are all here to speculate and talk and all that but i have seen too many dbags say they think they know where a player is going here or they heard a player is going there. i cant even be interested when i see a thread like this, because it all goes back to the fact that this ones a toss up. its a toss up. let the speculation continue, however. go vols

For the record, I wasn't saying I necessarily felt that way, an actual coach made that comment to Tony Basilio.

Well there is a reason he was considered by most recruiting services to not only be the top running back prospect but also the #1 Over All Prospect!

You are wrong. I'll leave it at that.

so he's all vol?

I said I was leaving it at that. Not being a jerk, but I've stated before, I'm only willing to go so far.

You made blanket statements that were not true. I just wanted you to know before you stuck to them, they were not correct.

Probably in reference to BB not having made up his mind where he is going. VSPN has talked with Brown today, tnman, he knows what he is talking about.

Apex, if you know that Bryce is all Vol then why do you keep popping over to troll this thread?

The second you give any credence to the ramblings of senility that come from Al Davis, you lose all credibility anywhere outside of possibly, but not definitely, a Radiers fan site.

I love how you try to paint Bryce as this problem player when last week you were talking about how he was going to end up at LSU and were praising him. Your credibility is zilch around here. We take what we want from LSU. Haven't you figured that out by now?

yes he does........from what all i have gathered.

1. BB is coming to visit soon with his parents
2. BB is leaning to UT
3. VSPN= next VN guru (he has great info)
4. BB has a great trust in BB and tells him somethings, so always trust VSPN on what he says

I could tell by how you said it that you meant it in that way. I just meant anyone saying that sort of thing in general about a school like Tennessee. Even if it is a coach. That's just bold. Send him to Vanderbilt and sure, it'd make sense, but we haven't dropped that far off of the talent map is my point.

ok i certainly believe that, and would go as far as to say that he would probably have the upper hand in that speculation, given his position haha. i made the same mistake i was condemning. i meant i think he doesnt know where he's going just yet. but i said it wrong. my mistake

haha just to clear it up, i think its great people are hearing he is leaning toward knoxville. im not saying at all that i dont think he's comin here. im excited just to be considered and i sure as hell hope he ends up runnin buck all over the rest of the sec in orange.

I don't think most people mean it like that. I'm one of those people that thinks he has a good chance to start as a freshman. Not because Creer/Hardesty aren't that talented, but because he is that talented (imo).
