Bryce Brown Announcement

No he didn't. He just coached his first season without Pelini who is a much better DC than Chavis. Result: 7-5 with the 2 reliably consistent "shouldn't have lost" losses.

His national title was the first claimed by a two loss team... a team that almost didn't survive an undermanned UT team in the SEC CG, right? A team that DIDN'T survive a undermanned, one dimensional Arkansas team that fired their coach following the season, right?

In that SECCG game, CPF and his staff OUTCOACHED Miles and his staff! There were fairly consistent rumors that players were saying they would win the NC in spite of Miles.

LSU has been absolutely loaded every year Miles has been there. In my opinion, last year was the first during his tenure that they weren't the most talented team in the SEC and perhaps the country.

You know as well as I do that you would take that 2 loss National Title. And we had our share of breaks in 98 too. Remember the Arkansas QB just HANDING us the ball? It happens for EVERY title team.

I wouldn't be surprised if this kid commited to Georgia even though nothing has been mentioned he was interested. I'm just saying.....UGA came to Tenn and took our #1 and #2 players right out from under our noses! I don't care who the coach is......THAT should never happen. Until we land a stud QB we aren't going to improve very much from 2008. Kiffen has work to do, it remains to be seen if he can get it done. Talk is cheap and we all want to win NOW!

you've got some work to do to learn how to spell the head coaches name.

the "watch it live" button is really small. It is right above the morning update video on the right side of the page. It took me awhile to find it.

I also found it in the sports section but it is not where the Bryce Brown highlight reel is at. I don't know why they didn't put it there. It is in red letters like the first story on the sports page.

This was just put up by Chris Low on ESPN.com. Top 5 Running Backs for 2009. I think what he has to say about LSU is really interesting.

2. Charles Scott, LSU: The only problem with the 235-pound Scott is that the Tigers are so deep at running back. Keiland Williams and Richard Murphy also return, so there's a chance LSU may spread the wealth in 2009. Scott may also be pressed into some duty at fullback with Quinn Johnson gone. Still, when you run for 1,174 yards and 18 touchdowns, as Scott did last season, chances are that you'll be the No. 1 option again. With so much inexperience at quarterback, the Tigers won't stray too far from their running game, but they have to replace the middle of their offensive line now that center Brett Helms and massive guard Herman Johnson are gone.
