Bryce Brown Announcement

Are you the one that got threatened with expulsion if you didn't shut your piehole?
Posted via VolNation Mobile

I was told that BB did not want to be noticed or publicize his trip...and that yes, I should stop posting about his whereabouts or I'd lose posting privileges here.

However, it turns out that did NOT come from any VN moderator at all. It was a ruse from a poster who changed my password so I briefly thought I was in fact not going to be able to post again...at least not that afternoon. Anyway, welcome to UT Bryce!

Dude...he JUST WON A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!!! Stop making me defend LSU.

No he didn't. He just coached his first season without Pelini who is a much better DC than Chavis. Result: 7-5 with the 2 reliably consistent "shouldn't have lost" losses.

His national title was the first claimed by a two loss team... a team that almost didn't survive an undermanned UT team in the SEC CG, right? A team that DIDN'T survive a undermanned, one dimensional Arkansas team that fired their coach following the season, right?

In that SECCG game, CPF and his staff OUTCOACHED Miles and his staff! There were fairly consistent rumors that players were saying they would win the NC in spite of Miles.

LSU has been absolutely loaded every year Miles has been there. In my opinion, last year was the first during his tenure that they weren't the most talented team in the SEC and perhaps the country.

I am glad this is almost over, to many man crushes going on in here. And I hope you are all not disappointed.

I read most of the post and was wondering when BB was announcing and where i could get a live feed from Kansas over the internet.

i am all for eric berry knocking his head off if he doesn't come...but with the way practices are going to be i am excited to see eric berry knock his head off during a practice!!!! talk about some fun collisions...

on a side note: here in wichita the talk is oregon adn tennessee. my fingers are crossed...running down to the hall of fame hopefully here in a little bit. Go Vols!

It is Oregon. See this:
Brown remains committed to Miami, but he said over the past few weeks that Oregon – thanks mainly to the efforts of coach-in-waiting Chip Kelly – has become a serious candidate. Clemson, Kansas State, LSU, USC and Tennessee, which he will visit this weekend, also are options.

"Oregon is just a place I see myself at," Brown said. "At night when I go to sleep, I try to imagine myself at each school. When I think about Oregon, I go to sleep and I feel like that's the place for me. But I know I'm not in tune with my spirit, and my spirit is heavily involved in this. I'm praying, and I have people praying for me.

"I really like Coach Kelly, and he wants the best for me. It's not even really about football anymore. If I don't choose to go to Oregon, Coach Kelly and I are still going to have the relationship. Anything I need, any questions I have, I know that I can call him. He truly and genuinely wants the best for me."

I think that we were the leaders going into friday according to crabtrees article. He sounds pretty confident about his decision now...logic tells me u dont go from complete confidence in one team to complete confidence in another team in three days.....ALL VOL!

It is not Oregon. They have a sex offender for a S&C coach.

Those quotes were from a long time ago, before he visited both UT and LSU.

So...the Ticker on ESPN says the announcement is 1pm Eastern...are they wrong?

I assume it would have been mentioned on here but just wanted to be sure

I wouldn't be surprised if this kid commited to Georgia even though nothing has been mentioned he was interested. I'm just saying.....UGA came to Tenn and took our #1 and #2 players right out from under our noses! I don't care who the coach is......THAT should never happen. Until we land a stud QB we aren't going to improve very much from 2008. Kiffen has work to do, it remains to be seen if he can get it done. Talk is cheap and we all want to win NOW!
