It would be better than LSU or Miami. Besides, I follow the CFL pretty close and the Roughriders are my team. It would be a bad move for him to go there though because of Wes Cates. He's a beast haha.

LSU had no QB or DC last year...both of those things have been addressed and our talent level is as high as it's ever been at LSU...Miles enters his 5th season at LSU...Saban players are all gone...Let it rest...

The latest interview has Kiffin accusing Miles/LSU of Negative recruiting UT...Wow! Just wow! Your coach continues to open his mouth over and over and over again... he has no political savy what so ever... He is going to learn the hard way about this public popularity gig.


If Miles looses 5 games next year it will be because we lost Jefferson for the season.

If BB commits to the Vols, I will come back and congratulate you...

If he choose any other school, I doubt you will do the same...

You forget this is not tigerdroppings? Any board you go to is going to be biased about their team.

I seriously doubt I could come to an LSU board and be met with totally serious conversation when I want to discuss UT sports.

Of course we think our school is the best choice for recruits..just like I am sure you do of LSU.

Once Brown announces I am sure there will be a fair share of positive and negative remarks here for the school that gets him.

IMO, I want him at UT. That said, 4 of the 5 schools on his list are understandable to me. I do not know why he would want to go to Oregon.

1 - UT - IMO, the best place to be...I am sure I am a homer on this one. The facilities here are great. All Start coaching staff. One of the biggest stadiums in the nation.

2 - LSU - one of the top teams in the country and it is the SEC!

3 - Kansas St - he is from Kansas and would not completely surprise me

4 - Miami - only because his brother is there

I do not list these school in any particular order. I am just giving my thinking of why he could go there.

Butler said LSU would be a force to be reckoned with! I don't feel to comfortable. I think his visit this past weekend was very important to him signing with us. His family not visiting us worries me. Just a thought!

In order to win the SEC, a lot of times you have to beat (play) the same team twice.

bottom line is the SEC is brutal, I don't care what side you play on. Do you want Urban or Saban, twice a year? You want to play the Hat twice? Petrino? Nutt with his talent right now?

With UT getting back on track that makes the SEC better.. I am for it.

I have always respect UT and like UT...

I am tired of this ranting on LSU and this back and forth.. Overall, I like this board and the entertainment of it...but the confidence is over the top, and the banging on other schools is not being level headed...but it's a message board..

I appreciate the ones that acknowledge respect for LSU and Miles.. We know Miles is goofy at times...but it's part of the mystic now... it goes with the Cajun culture... The Hat is to be respected... He is a good man

My source says the announcement will be creative, but that if you are a Vols fan, rest easy. He is a Vol. Also, don't be surprised to see BB catching passes at UT in addition to being a running back. Sort of Percy Harvin-like...and getting the "best" players on the field together, i.e., Creer/Hardesty and Oku/Willams as RB tandems...at times...w/Bryce in the slot or w/o either catching passes or running reverses or whatever it takes to get playmakers on the field and making plays.

Book it...I've never been wrong before! (Although I don't usually make predictions, either; just happen to know something on this one, and unfortunately, that's not the norm for me).

Man, I knew I was going to piss somebody off with bringing up the topic. So my apologies Voldad.

But I agree about Brown wanting to better himself but I just think cohesion is important. I just hope he doesn't screw our team up if he comes. I want him to come in the hope that he is a stud. And I think cockiness is great if it is cocky towards the externalities of a team. But cockiness within the locker room (and I'm not talking about competition) can be destructive. That's all.
