I stated once in the thread that got cut that BB will be a vol. My sources havent let me down yet (except once in Basketball info). Book it. 99% sure.

I've been looking through the previous threads trying to make sure I'm not starting up a superfluous one, but couldn't find my answer. So i apologize up front if this has been answered.

My question is I was reading less than a week ago about an unofficial "rumor" that Bryce Brown and his family was re-visiting Knoxville Monday (Today) and wanted to know if anyone has heard anything about that.

Rivals still says he is a soft verbal to Miami but that has been his status since February or so.

I think UT is his best option but IMO Oregon is clearly his second best option. Both schools have good staffs. The Ducks are one of the 9 also rans in the Pacified 10 but they are poised if Carroll leaves to step up. Their facilities are reputed to be some of the best in the country. They have a very good fan base compared to other West Coast teams. Outzen is a great game day environment. The area is beautiful with a very temperate climate (probably important for a KS kid).

I think it is stupid for Oregon fans to even attempt to compare the prestige of the two programs. OTOH, there are some very good reasons to go there that we shouldn't ignore.

You sir are just delusional and extremely Bias...and seem to be a pretty good indicator of the over all feeling of your fans/posters here... LSU sucks and stinks like Corn dogs, blah blah...childish comments

LSU had no QB or DC last year...both of those things have been addressed and our talent level is as high as it's ever been at LSU...Miles enters his 5th season at LSU...Saban players are all gone...Let it rest...

What I find funny is you guys coming off the heals of a 5-7 season are suddenly the best choice for any quality player...every other school is a "bad choice" comment from you guys.. "not even close to our tradition" crap... comments, you simply can not bring yourself to complement or give respect to another program.. That makes you silly

You have lost grasp of reality nor have any respect for LSU or Miles, oregon or Miami for that matter. It's hard to take you people serious with this kind of rubbish..

Again, your coach is 0-0 as a HC.. I repeat 0-0.. That makes him extremely unknown as what he can or can not do as a leader and motivator and representative of UT... That should make you very cautious about your optimism.. "Let's wait and see" type of thinking.. but no, your way past that..



The latest interview has Kiffin accusing Miles/LSU of Negative recruiting UT...Wow! Just wow! Your coach continues to open his mouth over and over and over again... he has no political savy what so ever... He is going to learn the hard way about this public popularity gig.


If Miles looses 5 games next year it will be because we lost Jefferson for the season.

If BB commits to the Vols, I will come back and congratulate you...

If he choose any other school, I doubt you will do the same...

I didn't want to get caught up in this circus, but I'm just going to go ahead and throw my two cents in now that we're about 2 1/2 hours out.

BB looks absolutely sick on vid. You just don't see kids making those kinds of moves. That said, this has gotten crazy. I just don't see any point in all this prolonging and attention. Sure, I want to see BB in orange as much as the next guy. However, if he decides to go elsewhere, I'm not gonna sweat it near as much as I did MB (and Marlon isn't in the same league as Bryce). I just can't find it in me to be THAT crushed that this kid, who decided to drag out his decision so that all eyes were on him, chose to go to a school where he can "win the heisman as a true freshman." Sorry...unless your name is Peyton Manning, Barry Sanders, or Jerry Rice I'm not gonna fret. Lets all be honest....is he really all that much better than Oku anyway?

Yes, I would LOVE for BB to come to UT. If he does, lets leave all flaming sword juggling and pies in the face behind...and for Coach O's sake...lets play some gaw darned football!

It's about time. I would like to have him, but he needs the "Me" knocked out of him. I think CLK and CEO will do that simple. Or someone like Eric Berry will make sure the talented freshman stays in his right place and matures to a great player. (That's ideal)

I do agree with you. I am hopeful and excited about what CLK and his staff will bring to our program...but for now...it is wait and see. I am very encouraged at what they have been able to do with recruiting with such limited time. To even be in the discussion for BB in our time frame is an accomplishment.

I have great respect for Miles and LSU (except when you lost to UGA..what the heck?) although I am a little concerned about his ability to maintain what Saban started. I respect CMR at UGA...just can't stand their fan base. I think UO would be a decent choice for BB...great facilities, NIKE marketing, etc...but I still think ANY SEC school would be a better choice due to more competition.

Here's hoping BB becomes a VOL in just over 2 hours...but if he goes elsewhere...so be it. Congrats to that school and best of luck to BB...until he comes across the Big Orange Nation.

You do realize UT and LSU had the EXACT same record in the SEC last year?

Because he changed his mind on Miami and took a proper amount of time to make the most important decision of his life so far?

Because he's got someone helping guide him through the process? Or because he's super mega talented?
What does Eric Berry have to do with all of this? He got to be a superstar freshman, why can't Brown be given that same opportunity?

Please pay attention. He SAID...that if WE got BB...he would drop by THIS BOARD and congratulate us...a sign of class. He SAID that if THEY or SOMEONE ELSE got BB...that most fans HERE would not go to ANOTHER message board and do the same. Geesh!

The "me" I was referring to was not being talented or a superstar. It's letting that go to your head. Eric Berry has been at the top of college football since his freshmen year and has been grounded and a leader.

Not all superstars are leaders. Look at T.O. I heard Bryce say during this whole thing that he liked Oregon because of their Nike sponsorship. That would get him more "air-time."

And I brought Eric Berry into the equation because he will have Brown's respect because of his talent level and Berry can hopefully mold and teach him. I'm not talking at all about how long he's taken to reach a decision. That's fine with me.

Well big deal, it sucks doesn't it?


We lost to UF #1 MNC Champ
We lost to UGA #1 preseason
We lost to Bama #1 for 6 weeks
We lost to Ole Miss strong top ten, dominated their bowl
We lost to Arky Should not have happened, Period..

I am not making excuses...we had an ugly season by LSU standards, but this is freaking SEC

What I like is we started our True Freshman the last 2 games that has shown great poise and mobility..as evidenced in the Bowl game against GT. It's about playing with confidence..

I think Ole Miss and UF will be our toughest games next year based on who is coming back

LSU is going to be in the top 7 or 8 to start the season
