What I think is so funny about that futuristic duck thing is that lots of important people had to think that thing was cool at some point.

There you go again, speaking of what you know nothing about. Harper was given his fair shake - he couldn't throw most of the time due to a lingering injury. If he wants to try again and his shoulder has healed, he'll be given that shot. But as of now it hasn't looked like he's capable of throwing consistently.

If the coaches weren't giving players a "fair shake" Bryce probably wouldn't be talking about how Oregon's coaches "take care of their players."

Brown said his son had concerns about Miami's running back production and how he would be used in new Miami offensive coordinator Mark Whipple's offense. After repeated conversations with the Miami staff, Brown said he's still not entirely sure if his son announces for Miami today the Canes would have a scholarship for him. It's this situation that led him to say he wishes his son had waited before making a commitment.

"I tried to make arrangements to go this last week with Bryce to Knoxville. I wasn't able to make it. He just wanted to go back to Tennessee and see if the feeling was the same as what he felt on his official visit.
