Bryce Brown Announcement

Been trading emails with Chris Allison who's at KGSO radio in Wichita. He's an old friend and a good guy. As close to the topic as possible without being named Brown or Butler I think. Everything he's heard this weekend is that it's either Oregon or Kansas State.

His email went on to say that Oregon or K-State make a lot of sense based on what those around him say the priorities are, how much he likes Chip Kelly and Bill Snyder, etc. He also noted that in some ways he's no different from the rest of us, that we don't know what else Brown's thinking. He could say it's Tennessee and surprise everyone tomorrow. Although, to me that's looking more and more unlikely, especially if Chris Harper is going to be there tomorrow during the announcement, which is also rumored.

Sounds. Sounds like Miami is out and Tennessee is a longshot. Which means Oregon, LSU (remember, Crowton's there and I'm sure has a lot to say about the Oregon program), and Bill Snyder's is LOVED in that state and only 2 hours away. Snyder was inducted into the Kansas Sports Hall of Fame a few years back. That's the venue they've chosen for the announcement. It's in Old Town in downtown Wichita.

Someone he doesn't pick is gonna get to see him anyway. Oregon plays UT in '10, and I believe K-State in '11.

I think this has been posted already. Nonetheless, the guy sounds like he doesn't have a clue what he's talking about.

I think the link for this was posted earlier.

Ivtec, if it makes you feel better, the announcement at this venue in kansas has been planned for some time. You have to remember he graduated already and isn't doing the normal in-school announcement.

BB made a visit to UT on his own dime even with this announcement already planned, so I feel confident he'll be a Vol come tomorrow.
