Bryce Brown Announcement

Miami is still in the picture, though some are speculating that they are out of it. No one really knows for sure. Since his brother is in school there, I would say they are definitely still in the picture.

Randy Shannon said in a radio interview the other day that their '09 class was complete.

Sorry if this has already been posted but some guy in Miami just posted on the Rivals MB that Brown signed his LOI in Knoxville yesterday.

Just checking to see if you guys had any inside scoop on whether UT will land BB. Doesn't appear so. If the post indicating BB talks with Chip Kelly daily via phone is correct, and unless BB also talks with CLK daily, then that could be cause for serious concern. Although openly religious, bear in mind that BB is a little bit of an arrogant "me 1st" case. It seems he has fully bought into the hype that he is the #1 recruit, and has even boasted that he's confident he will win the Heisman as a true freshman. Due to SEC defensive prowess, BB may figure he'll put up bigger numbers at Oregon, Miami or KS. This one is definitely hard to guess. Honestly, I would not be surprised if he picked OR, MIA, UT, LSU, or even KS. BTW, the videos were funny! Good luck.

I thought we already established that Brown couldn't sign his letter of intent on his visit....wait...we did.

It is a quiet period right now, so I dont believe Bryce can sign his LOI til monday. Thats at least how it is in baseball right now, and I wouldnt think football would be any different. Monday is the first day colleges can oficially "talk" to you again and you can sign your LOI(in baseball).

3 Now..

Problem is I think Bryce would have to have it signed wit his parents signature as well because he is under 21

if this is true, it has changed since i signed a baseball LOI...i do not beleive that parents have to sign, an 18 yr old can sign for himself
