The only way I think he doesn't come to UT is if he decides to play with his brother at Miami.

I know Chip Kelly is a great OC, but I have to think Mike Belotti (sp) going to AD has to all but seal the deal for the Vols. I wouldn't be surprised if Kiffin got BB to verbal at the very least this weekend.

There is no other reason for him to visit twice in one month.

I have been reading but not posting in this thread for some time now. I still have one great lingering question.

Is Miami still an option for BB?

Several sources claim that they aren't even offering him any more. Others claim that they are very much in the picture, possibly being the leader.

I would say yes. I feel good about our chances, but I can't put Miami out of the picture.

From what I hear, Brown and the UM coaches have had very little contact since all the reports came out saying they had pulled their offer. Take it FWIW.

Miami is still in the picture, though some are speculating that they are out of it. No one really knows for sure. Since his brother is in school there, I would say they are definitely still in the picture.

It has been said several times on here, and I agree. The out of pocket trip to Knoxville this weekend tells the story for me. He may have come anyway, but the trip makes no sense at all, if he chooses anyone else.

Methinks he told his parents he wanted to go to UT, and they gave in, but told him to take one more trip to make sure.

Getting back on topic... I can't imagine BB going out and buying a UT coat if he isn't coming... I supposed it could be borrowed however... In any event we'll know in about 25 hours or so...

hey guy's i've been in costa rica for the past week and have been completely disconnected from my vols (the only bad part of my trip) i've been sifting through this info and am absolutely shocked and excited about this out of pocket trip, however i didn't see if any of his family, or just butler came with him. i'm sure it's in there somewhere and someone's gonna yell at me for "not reading the 8,000 previous posts" but i'm still on tica time and don't care at all.

Bryce's father was originally scheduled to but at the last min something came up at work. If, as I suggested, the visit was just for Bryce to "make sure", then his parents really didn't need to be there.

thanks it's good that his father wanted to go, and it's incredible that brown wanted to make this trip, i just wish that a family member had been present because in my opinion that would have absolutely sealed it once our coaches were able to charm them on their home turf.

The coats were probably UT's. There was several people there wearing the same coats.

Just my opinion mind you, but I believe if BB goes to UT, he goes there, not because he's in love with the program, but rather because he'll get more pub there. All the attention this year is going to be on UT and Kiffin. BB knows all eyes are going to be turned this way. He likes sensationalism, and he can get it with CLK and UT.

Can't. Some athletic gear is given to the athletic department that can't be bought in stores. I believe that coat is one of them.

IF you know a team manager they can get you one :)

Also, Adidas normally makes them available when they bring in the next year's line.
