Bryant Jr. Could End Football For UT's First Opponent In '15

I can't believe they would try to end the program. Surely their football team was making money by playing larger schools.

I don't understand this, they usually have a competitive team right?

They did, but when Watson Brown left and Bryant Jr didn't allow Jimbo Fisher to come it went downhill.

Thanks, I've never really followed them. I do recall them playing some bigger schools close before and just wondered.

UAB finally found a good coach and Bear Bryant's son seems not to be pleased. UAB could end football with an announcement coming following the last regular season game. This could be interesting if UT has to replace UAB on the schedule.

UAB will continue playing through the end of the 2016 season, regardless of the future. They would have to pay massive buyouts of future non-conference games and to get out of CUSA if they end the program before then. UT's game will not be affected.

But it's telling that UAB has no football contracts, games, coaches or future opponents for 2017 and beyond.

This is all abut making sure no other institution in the state can threaten the supremacy of UA's football program in the state.

It's a joke because UA controls UAB and UAB is now trending up in football and they want to do away with the program because they dont want them good at any sport... Why do u think Alabama never plays them in anything especially basketball? Just another reason to hate Alabama
