"UCLA heads to Knoxville next week to play Tennessee. It's a game the Bruins might very well lose." That is all I read in that whole write up. :p

They will hopefully be out West licking their wounds....Kiffin will take this game personally from his USC days

Kiffin and Coach O both will. Mix that with a few of the players who wanna make up for last year and I think you've got a team that is gonna be prepared as well as any other college team playing next week.

GO VOLS!!!!!!!

They can say whatever they want about chemistry but the fact is they didn't play all that well against a mediocre at best SDSU team. I think we beat them handily.

I was on UCLAs campus this weekend. The fans are pretty confident. In some of the conversations, they believe they will overtake USC is a few years. If I was a highschool player and my choice was USC or UCLA purely on a college campus choice, it would be UCLA by a LONG SHOT.

Isn't USC in a pretty rough part of LA? I would go to UCLA too.

I look at it like this...If EB said that they were prepared better for the game against WKU than any other game they have ever played in, I can imagine what Kiffin and Coach O will do for them for this game...We may have an idea of what to expect when we head down to the Swamp, as far as intensity goes....JMO

Westwood is really nice. Basically flanked by Beverly Hills, West LA (near Santa Monica), Brentwood, etc.

USC's campus is basically flanked by... South LA, previously known as South Central. It's not the worst area where the SC campus is, and is close to some fun stuff too, but it's not somewhere you want to hang out off campus late at night alone.

It's very similar to McCallie's location in Chattanooga (or how it used to be anyway, I don't know if it's still like that)

I'm afraid to get my hopes up too far, but I agree with you 100%. I'm waiting to next Saturday to really let myself feel good, lol. But all indications are that it's actually happening! I can't find anything to make me think otherwise.

I'm not saying by no means that if we play good and come out with intensity and bury UCLA that we will go an ddo it in the Swamp, and I know you didn't take it that way but it would be a big step in the right direction....After seeing Saturday all indications definitely are that its happening

I will say this though, Saturday against UCLA and even moreso the next weekend against UF, we cannot start slow and cough the ball up a couple of times early like we did against WKU...If that happens, we can stay in the game with UCLA but UF will capitalize on that in a heart beat

Thanks. I spent a month in El Segundo for some training a couple of years ago and remember driving by the campus and being kind of surprised.

I believe that if kiffin has the chance he will run up the score on UCLA as much as he can. I also think that we will play with even more intensity then we did against WKU.

The USC campus is surrounded with wrought iron fencing and gated if that helps with your visual.

Correct!! a dangerous, bad neighborhood, that only gets worse, when u drive about 10 minutes from campus.....to Compton, where you will get shot for no reason!! Great school!! NOT!!!! :eek:lol:

Our pass rush will eat their QB alive. It will be hilarious to watch him try to get off a pass.

Their offense will be better than it was last year, but I firmly believe that with Chavis gone, they will not be able to pass on us. Will they be able to run? Sure, but not for a ton of TDs. I say we give up maybe 14.

We can score 38 or more and we should.

If the score is 38-14, people around the country will be somewhat impressed. If everything goes perfectly and it is more like 56-10 people will start wondering if we have a chance against UF. Make your bets now ladies and gents...

Ronald Powell, Dietrich Riley, George Uko, Josh Shirley please head EAST! We need you in Knoxville, we do not pay like USC but we do give you a platform and after years of adulation and love literal and metaphorical you will be an NFL millionaire if you perform and do what the coaches say and avoid injury.

Tuscaloosa is a place where you get shot for no reason as well...that crap hole in the west of Alabama has 25% of their workforce sucking on the government teat.
