As much as Bruce Pearl likes to talk, I would expect him to have a radio call-in show to give the fans a chance to sound off ... especially on his substitutions of Pearl and McBee and his inability to motivate the team for lesser opponents (which gripes me). Is there such a thing on the Vol network? If there isn't, there should be. He has a helluva lot of explaining to do. I frankly think his problem is that he is too much of a nice guy with his players. And he ingratiates himself to the press especially on his NCAA problems. He should shut up and let the fans talk.

Vol calls are on Mondays, he was on answering questions last night, and believe he is almost every single Monday throughout BBall season

Thanks. I love Bruce, but these losses, especially the loss to Charlotte, with no point production and no hustle, put him in a tenuous place. I, for one, would like to ask him to stop talking to the press and yell at his players.

Say what you want about Bruce, I don't think this is an issue...

Yes. That would be a brilliant idea. Nothing resonates strong, effective leadership quite like getting in a pissing contest with fans over substitution patterns, game strategy and team motivation.

I'm sure that the fan input would have a major positive impact on Pearl, the team and the win/loss record for this season. He just needs fans to let him know what to do.

Pissing is right. Which is what happens a lot here. I'm just saying let him know instead of telling one another. God, it's not rocket science. Pearl and McBee are hurting the team. I promise you tonight they'll be out there as usual, and the results will be the same. Nepotism sucks. Fans have a right to sound off. Bench your son, Bruce!

I don't think that not yelling at the players is the problem. He yells at them constantly.

Yes, he does yell. But I don't ever see him getting mad at anyone but the refs. There was no enthusiasm for the Charlotte game. Make 'em run extra sprints. Do what Pat Summit does. Works for her. It worked for me when I played football.
