I think Pearl has been extremely classy talking about UT. There's no reason any UT fan should be mad about any of the comments that I've heard. If anything, Auburn fans should be getting a little tired of hearing how much he loves UT & Knoxville! I loved him while he was here & still like him, but Donnie is our coach now & he is great too!

Bruce has shown class ever since he was dismissed and I don't see how anyone could be critical of him except someone that has never make a mistake.

I don't think this was classy..there is no way you can keep a coach with a show cause..it would kill recruiting

I probly missed it but I didn't hear that in the interviews I heard. What I saw was him cryin talkin about how special this place is. I (call me a Pearl homer) saw real remorse and him missing this AWSOME place they call the Unniversity of Tennessee and TBA!

He said it when the Auburn radio guys were interviewing him after the game..two faced imo...I'm glad he's gone

Yes. If you have to fire a coach because of sanctions, you should replace him with a coach you previously fired because of sanctions. Because that makes so much sense.

Exactly. If UT hired Bruce back, every program could use that against us and we'd always have a cloud over our heads. Someone has to be the bigger person. UT had no choice but to get rid of him. It's not our fault he screwed himself over.

The really sad day will come if we lose Tyndall. That's going to really hurt. The guy is a special coach...

Bruce is special in his own way. He's kind of like your first true love in life. Sometimes they get away, but you never fully forget about them. For all you people bashing Pearl lovers, get over it. He is the reason our men's basketball program took off like it did. I sat through the Buzz ball. I was at TBA during those years, and it was a lonely place. Pearl deserves respect for what he did here, which was prove to UT fans, etc. that UT can be consistently relevant in basketball...

I also think everyone should get behind Tyndall. He's a better X and O coach than Pearl IMO, and he's doing an amazing job this year. Go out and support these guys and quit fighting like school girls over Pearl. Pearl is the man. He'll always be loved here. Tyndall is also the man, and he deserves the same love and respect as well. It's a shame Tyndall has to beg the crowd to get loud. Papa needs to lay down the popcorn and make some noise for once...

I think DT is a very good coach. It's hard for some of us to go all in with Donnie while this NCAA crap is going on..

Donnie is no different than Pearl..if he cheated and gets a show cause he has to go..I think with the young talent that we seem to have, we should be able to find a good coach..if we open the checkbook

I'm glad he's back at Auburn. I'm not as involved with the UT fanbase, and don't share those feelings about him having to leave. All I know is that he was a fun guy to see on the sideline, had some very good UT teams, and as a result those were some great years of UT basketball. Hope CDT can do the same, and that Bruce can succeed at a tough Auburn job.
