Uhh...yeah, it's been discussed. The only way he is gone after this year is if they cut down the nets at San Antonio, IMO. It would shock me if he considers the job he came here to do to be delivering an out-right regular season SEC championship.

He took UWM to the Sweet 16, and took former 14-17 team to the 2nd round and the Sweet 16.

The SEC tournament is overrated.

Taking a 5 seed to the sweet 16 is actually technically overachieving, ya know.

Bruce Pearl is way too good of a recruiter to go to the NBA- that'd be silly as he wouldn't be able to use a major part of his abilities as a coach.

And why would he leave Tennessee?
He's at a university willing to pay him a lot and put tons of money into athletics.
He's at a major SEC school that is quickly becoming a "basketball school" as well as a "football school."
He's at a place where the students love him.
He's at a place where the alumni and fans love him.
He pretty much calls his own shots.
He is at a place with a massive, top quality arena.

Why would he leave?

Don't think he'll leave anytime soon, but as all coaches do in his situation, he might feign interest in other jobs to boost his salary.
