Coach Pearl will make an appearance on Cold Pizza this morning...as with all of his interviews, this should be worth watching. :peace2:

yeah...it was rather uneventful, for a Bruce Pearl interview.

He did mention that he thought the NCAA tournament should expand to 80 teams...and said that Syracuse, or any other team that goes 10-6 in the Big East, should be in the tournament.

Also mentioned that he and Pat are sharing an office for the next four months.

As enthusiastic and amiable as always.

Slick Rick says, this was probably very interesting considering what that one guy said about him 5 or 6 weeks ago. Does anyone remember who that was? One of those guys on the show blasted Coach Pearl for chest painting.

It was Skip the Tool. He's a Vandy grad and has that little brother attitude about anything UT.

I disagree with expanding the NCAA field. Every year, certain teams are going to get the shaft (Syracuse is, by my estimation, certainly more deserving of a bit than, say, Arkansas), but really, isn't that part of the fun? Unless you are, of course, a fan of one of the teams that gets shafted.

I think Arky deserved in but Purdue and Illinois are the 2 that should have been looked at closer. They should have been replaced with Syracuse and WV IMO

Yeah, no matter how big the tournament is, someone will always complain about being left out.
