Bruce Feldman on Finebaum

Bruce Feldman was just on Finebaum talking about coaching changes around the nation. He said Clemson is a good job, Auburn is a good job, and said Tennessee is a really really good job. So from a national standpoint, it appears that the UT job is better than the rest.

He also said Muschamp would entertain Washington since the AD was at LSU the same time as Muschamp. He thinks that Clemson though would be a better job for Muschamp.

But as far as UT, he gave no other canidate other than Lane Kiffin. He said Lane Kiffin wanted that job the day he got fired from Oakland. Feldman lives in LA and has covered Kiffin at both USC and Oakland. He is in the know I would say. Not trying to post rumors, just telling you what a guy said on a regional radio show.

We need to worry about getting CPF out of office first before we field speculation on who our next coach will be.

What other job in the country has a coach with a contract similar to the one given at UT?

Let's get Fulmer out first. I think Kiffin would be a great hire. I watched a couple Oakland games this year and they were an up-and-coming team. He can recruit b/c has NFL ties and prolly took a few pointers from Carroll. He seems like a very smart offensive guy.

Getting Kiffen, Muschamp, or Davis would definetely stir the recruiting pot
