*****Bruce Feldman: Fulmer undermining Currie hoping to become AD

Hopefully they give more details to how he sabotaged this. If he was the one leaking the coaches we were in talks with because he knew they were terrible hires, I am less bothered. If he was more actively trying to sabotage Currie just for his own self interests, then I would lose a lot of respect for Phil Fulmer.

How can you be appreciative of Fulmer undermining the Leach hire for his own personal gain?

How is Tennessee better offer with Fulmer at AD and no coach v. Currie as AD and Leach as HC?

Currie's days were already numbered, but now we are missing out on a great coach.

I’ve been very clear on this. If it means taking a few hard kicks for a year or two in order to remove Currie/Haslam wing of the AD and Admin, it’s better for long term. Anyone arguing elsewise is obviously pro status quo

Oh wow, how shocking. Fulmer going behind someone’s back for personal gain? I’m sure he’s mistaken.

I know it was rumored that Phil was one who leaked Schiano Hire. I truly believe it now.

1. Currie has a $5 million buyout.............add that to the bill. 2. How does the guy in charge of the worst run NFL team in the league have this much sway in Knoxville? This is bad..............

Mike Leach was not status quo. Currie's day we're numbered.

Both of those things are moves in the right direction.

Who do you see Fulmer pulling in? Because I imagine it's not going to be as good as Leach.

Our chances of landing Kiffin probably just got worse. Rumors are they Fulmer was really against considering Kiffin.

That's why Fulmer can't be AD, even on interim basis. We need to get Blackburn asap. If he doesn't go with Kiffin, then fine.

They are firing for cause. He may get some buyout but it won't be all of it.
