makes sense. likely the Anti-Haslam boosters are using Phil as point to coalesce around

what will be interesting is to see where Peyton is in this. If he backs Phil that could seriously hurt his own interests in getting a GM job in NFL. If he backs Jimmy, he loses his reputation in TN

I'm not sure I like the headline... he wasn't undermining with the purpose to become the AD... he was to right the wrong and save the program...

Can confirm one big booster with his name on UT buildings is heavily pushing for Phil as AD.

God I love Coach Phillip Fulmer. He’s working like heck folks!

In my opinion this is one step closer to leading us to a Haslam led university. This isn't good like everyone thinks.

Interesting. Currie was one of the main people in Hamilton's ear to oust Fulmer. Boosters are going to bulldoze Haslam to install Fulmer as AD. I would rather have Blackburn. Karma's a female dog.

How can you be appreciative of Fulmer undermining the Leach hire for his own personal gain?

How is Tennessee better offer with Fulmer at AD and no coach v. Currie as AD and Leach as HC?

Currie's days were already numbered, but now we are missing out on a great coach.

I don’t. Fulmer started running for AD once Haslams made it known they wanted Currie over Blackburn.

Fulmer only wanted AD once it became clear Currie was being considered. I seriously doubt Phil is close with Haslams at all.

I find it hard to believe that the end result of “Currie tried to hire Leach” was Currie getting fired.

Story doesn’t add up
