NFL preseason games are about to start ramping up, which has led some NFL organizations to release unofficial depth charts ahead of their first game. For the Cleveland Browns, they had a familiar name for Tennessee fans listed as a starter on their first depth chart release.

Wide receiver Cedric Tillman was listed as a starter along with his teammates Jamari Thrash and Jerry Jeudy.

Does anyone want the Cleveland Browns on their resume?

Josh Heupel's offense doesn't develop NFL WR's.

And Dylan Sampson is listed as the backup at RB.
Not bad!

Only Jerome Ford (Butch Jones Cincy RB???)
Is ahead of him
We know how good Sampson is, but I haven't seen any reports about him since he arrived in Cleveland. Articles have all been bout the RB from OSU. I figure it is just a matter of time.

Am I crazy? Sorry I hear what you’re saying.

But my brain has been stumped for like 15 minutes now on this Jerome Ford only being 25 and somehow played for Butch Jones at CINCY??

On a roster, and ACTUALLY playing are 2 different things

He did play for 3 teams the same years when he was "on" the Browns however
Original comment on the topic never said anything about playing. They said “end up at the Browns”. Being on the active roster and also the practice squad roster are both “ending up at the Browns”.

Neither time is listed on NFL.com...
Funny you mention that website but not the actual TEAM’S website…

Edit: The NFL does in fact have Josh Dobbs listed on the 2022 Browns roster so I don’t where you are getting your information other than to be a contrarian and trying to start an argument.

Edit #2: NFL website even reported Josh Dobbs as being on the 2023 Browns roster and being trading to the Cardinals no sooner than 12 hours after being named the backup.
