Brown Brothers?

I think that we can all agree that Poole should have beaten out BB for the #2 spot last year and would have under most coaches.

I don't buy in to the theory that Kiffin didn't want to play the best players but I do buy the theory that he chose his guy to be the backup to boost recruiting efforts. That philosophy probably would have been for the best in the long run if Kiffin stayed at UT but it was not good in the short term at all.

haha...no.

I must have missed where Alabama was starting 2 walk-ons and a RS freshman converted TE.

just because someone was a walk-on doesn't mean they they won't get better and deserve a start later. a lot of ppl would say walk-ons work harder and are more self-driven. you are so ridiculous it makes me laugh

The Sullins twins would have been benchwarmers at Alabama.

The reason the Sullins twins started wasn't because they worked harder to become the best on the depth chart....

The did work hard, but they started because we didn't have anyone else with the injuries to Richard etc...

Arthur Brown is not going to back to Miami no matter how much he may want to. In my opinion Bryce is down to three options: play for Tennessee (which oppurtunity is quickly fading), go play in the CFL or other small pro league, or just not play ball this year. Whatever he decides he isnt created the attention himself; im sure he came in to play for Kiffin (like it or not) and he really cant decide what he wants right now. It is a huge decision. Just give him a break and let him do whatever he feels is best for him.

different coaches, different players, i'm not about to say they would have or wouldn't have started over anyone. i'm saying it is an opinion that they'd been benchwarmers

No it's not. They would never have had a chance of playing, because they don't have depth issues.

Kiffin haters (I have been guilty at times) take out their frustrations on BB. He's a kid, chill out. If he comes back we are a better team, no questions asked. He is a great football player and with time and hard work might make it to the NFL.

The Kiffin Krew probably gives him a little too much credit. While nearly 500 yards is an impressive freshman year there are a lot of players who could have gotten the 500 yards that he got last year. He did very little to stand out.
