As a man that has had 3 of them I think Gary has a kidney stone. I hope that is the diagnosis and has speedy recovery. Prayers sent.

I have been getting them since I was 16 and I'm 33 now. The worst pain I have ever had. I had a Compound Fracture that didn't hurt half as much.

You don't know Pain till you get a Stone stuck between you Kidney and Bladder.

Dx via tv. Impressive.

I see the script there. Maybe a medical background? I am a paramedic and I have had three of them I now have a greater sympathy for anyone with with a kidney stone. Dropped me dead in my tracks all three times.

Yes sir. It is brutal and even the morphine doesn't take it all away. I used to say it cant hurt that bad and people acting like babies. Boy did the lord change my thinking and humble me. So I I have a great compassion for anyone who has one. I try and get my IV started with some base line vitals and get them some pain meds asap. It is just brutal and still baffled of how something so small can cause that kind of pain.

I had one so bad one time I couldn't even sit still. I broke the bell you dig to get a nurse at the ER LOL. The pain was so bad I was actually started Freaking Out. I grabbed the Doc and begged him to inject Pain Killers in me before they took me to X Ray.

I didn't know Pain like that could exist.

I don't know how people dealt with them before Pain Meds. Bet there where a lot of Suicides back then.

I really hate the Texans, but really hope Kubiak is ok. I've had many Kidney stones, but none that required me being carted off to the hospital in an ambulance. I hope you are right though, seeing as that would be non life threatening.

A few weeks ago I had one that was barely passable it was so big. I was given non narcotic meds to alleviate the pain. I was dumbfounded. And hope I'm never in Chattanooga again if I have one.
