I admit, I liked them much better in action than the leaked photos and it was really weird not seeing white helmet with orange power T

Glad the curse is over. Not sure how they looked on TV but in the stadium it looked rather blah. Heard several that said the same thing - while at the same time saying the one time Black unis were a lot better looking ( so not a tradition thing). I think the black popped while these did not

But you know what - if we win, I don't really care what they wear

Don't believe in the curse, but glad that Ga receiver dropped that TD pass. The uniforms looked good, along with the helmet. The crowd was not a Sea of Orange, I think UT fans wearing gray, looked like Ga had taken over Neyland, this is just how I saw it onTV.

First time I've ever liked the smokey grays 😀😃😁

I do think the Kiffin Halloween jerseys looked sharp with more contrast than the smokey grays. However, my entire bloodline is Appalachian and Cherokee going back to the Watauga settlement and the battle of King's Mountain. I'm proud to live in the Southern Highlands, so I embrace the rich tradition behind the smokey gray uniforms and the unique way we display a proud identity with the Great Smokey Mountains on the helmets. GO VOLS!!!

I love the alternate gray concept... But after watching a full game in the new smokey grays, I believe a white trim is needed around the orange stripes and numbers.

And one petty suggestion is to use gray or orange tape/wrap (instead of white) when wearing smokey grays. Dobbs entire lower legs were wrapped in white. I am sure Nike could provide us colored tape/wrap.

It's a good thing that ESPN Gameday wasn't in Knoxville. Might have been too many streaks to break all at once.
