I obviously don't know for fact, but my gut is telling me that she is the one hamstringing Currie and causing all this mess. It's simply her refusal to put the necessary money into the football program based on personal agenda. Only thing that makes sense to me.

I realize I'm Grasping at straws, but is there any chance he's still in play? Still in contract talks? Or is this 100% over?

It’s pretty obvious at this point that they don’t want anybody hired who will question their decisions. Why bring in a VFL who’s going to know what the fans and players want? The easy choice is a low paid coach who will jump through hoops for $5 mil.

I've been a die hard fan since the mid 70's and I've reached my saturation point with the lack of support and level of incompetence since Dickey retired.

I know I'm in the majority and if Doeren is hired Vol Nation will turn their backs on the program. Season ticket sales will drop dramatically, attendance will sag, apparel sales will decrease....the financial hit will be substantial.

Everyone has had enough of this BS and will start spending their time and money on other things. It will get to the point where you won't even be able to give your tickets away. If it happens, it will take years to recover even if they start winning.

After the **** show with Schiano and Gundy I was on board with Brohm. I've watched a lot of his games while he was at Western and he can coach. If Currie and Davenport blow this.....I'm done. F' them.
