agreed. and let's break this down....how the hell would they know what's happening every day inside the current program? word of mouth? assumptions?

also, given these comments about the program, do conklin and jackson think they deserve to be included now? they can kiss that idea goodbye. this is another reason why i deleted FB years ago. it lets stupid be really stupid.

FB is a whole greasefire. Worse thing that happened was allow regular email users to be on there 😭

Sounds like a bunch of old heads that hated the page turned. I hate it every fall season Pat Summitt isn't coaching the Lady Vols, but the on going talking about her what she would've done vs not, is what ate up fellow LVFL players and coaches Kellie and Holly. You can't make any coach be like the greatest one but the only thing you can do is create your own lane thrive.

Perhaps, these GEN X players are just picking up the Boomer tradition of complaining about "kids today."

I think we may be seeing a little bit of the "sharks chasing blood in the water" syndrome. Though some well-respected and knowledgeable posters on this board seem to feel differently, I remain committed to the idea that consistently being blown out by ranked teams, plus a few other clunker performances where the head coach asks "were did MY team go?" is NOT A GOOD SIGN. Of course, this situation may turn around beautifully over the remainder of the season, but when a ship looks lost at sea, those who are invested in the history of the program are going to wax nostalgic about the legendary captain who could always safely negotiate the rough waters.

I would love to see Brit and Abby coach teams and make it look so easy in this day of NIL/portal/social media

I agree. I think they were always upset from the beginning when CKC got hired, because she wasn’t a former Lady Vol. Just my opinion. They seem really bitter. Not a good look on them, if you ask me

Ah yes the good ol "she's an outsider" even though their former coach and all time great was too.

I truly believe Pat would be ashamed of the former players and support staff for participating in the public flogging of the current players and coaching staff.

There are things some have said that Pat might agree with, but if they believe Pat would approve of them going as far as they have, PUBLICLY, without even spending time with the team to get to know them and possibly understand them better, then I believe they’d be wrong.

My opinion only: They are not helping. They are inadvertently hurting the program.
