Wrong.... Earhart is VT parking and all American and red barn are UT.. The best place to park if you do not have a pass is to cruise the neighborhood behind pit row gas station and liquor store, people will have their yards to park and plenty of room to tailgate for 10-20 bucks. Some are nice en1Q ough to loan a toilet for use... If not just find a tree and sorry lady's. Finish line parking is also selling spots for 50 a spot (rip off)... The walk is no closer than the neighborhoods. There is also a church (volunteer baptist I beleive) that has parking for the races at around 15 bucks and its adjacent to Earhart on 11-e. There will be parking on 11-e all the way from lady equipment to the drive in theatre past the track. The neighborhood is located off of 394 behind the pit row conveinence store. Hope this helps some!

Ok then BMS must of told my wife wrong when she called them.

BMS is selling parking passes for the Battle at Bristol in the following lots on its property: Dragway, Landing, Speedway Parking and Camping, Medallion Campground, and stadium proper lots. Additionally, for the game, BMS has partnered with Earhart Campground, All-American Campground, and Red Barn Campground and will sell the entire inventory in those areas.

The Earhart Campground has been designated as Virginia Tech lots; the All-American and Red Barn campgrounds have been designated as Tennessee lots. These designations were made with traffic patterns and the stadium's seating configuration in mind. Traditional BMS lots will be a mix of both teams' fans.

Parking
Parking lots will open at 7:00 a.m. ET on game day, Sept. 10, 2016. Parking spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-park basis within each lot, and cars will be guided into the next available space. If you wish to park next to others in your party, you must arrive at the same time.

Tailgating is permitted within your designated parking space. Guests using more than their fair share will be asked to condense their space. Repeated violations will result in expulsion from the lot. There is no overnight parking in any lot.

Maybe she misunderstood?

I assume tailgating is pretty easy in on of these lots? I have a pass in Earhart. Just want to make sure setting up won't be a hassle

Yeah tailgating will be fine I'm sure. Only problem I could see happening is if they try to be a$$holes about taking up too much room without having multiple passes...but I would think after the lot gets full there won't be any traffic behind your vehicle so shouldn't be a problem to set up behind your spot and party on!

I live in elizabethton and go home through chinquapin as well! Shadracks is close! I heard they were doing vip spots as well as indoor parking? Saw it on their website or something a while back. There are some people selling a few passes for red barn around 50 still available as well i think.

My original plan was to do that Park and Ride the speedway was offering. I called the ticket office this morning and all locations are sold out. He said there is no parking at all available through the speedway and the normal lots they have have open for the races have been sold as well. I'm looking for any suggestions that doesn't cost crazy amount of money. Some of these parking passes I've seen are going for more then the cost of the ticket for the game. I'm a little worried I'll get there and have no where to park.

They will be parking around the track could be expensive. If I was to guess I would say around $50.00 average and a good walk. One thing to keep in mind when parking make sure you are on the side of the road you plan on traveling no left turns no u turns! Also in the past if you park in speedway parking they might hold you for one hour so pedestrian traffic clears up.

Most of the homes on Bethel Dr(off Exide Dr) will offer parking in their yard. And most have portable toilets.

GBO!!
Which side is that on? For the race I normally park in Speedway parking on 394.

If you're going north on Volunteer Pky, turn left onto Exide Dr after you pass BMS. First road to your right is Bethel Dr.

Maplehurst lane across from white top rd where it runs into 11E usually has a lot of parking and camping spots in local residents from and back yards.

Plenty of parking. My yard is open for parking, and you can tailgate. 15 minute walk. Similar distance from the City/County parking lot to Neyland. Easy out to 394 to I81.
