Does anyone know the logistics for parking at Bristol for the game? Do you have to have a parking pass before gameday, or is there plenty of other parking available on gameday? TIA

Don't know anything about passes but there's plenty of parking. Shadrack's has parking and shuttle for 20$. Everywhere I looked at driving by on the Parkway and 394 had signs up showing 5-10$. Somebody posted elsewhere that parking was 38$. Must have been valet with armed guards LOL.

Yeah probably races prices... I pretty sure most places has jacked up prices by doubling the regular price.

A buddy who goes to all the races says to park at a house or business across from the track for $20. He said 10 min walk from there, and some places will provide shuttle.

Off of highway 394 turn on to white top rd and the first lot on the left is usually free parking for the race. I don't know about for the game though. It always has free shuttles running to and from the track.

These are printed permanent signs and haven't seen anyone paint over theirs. Gonna make a beerrun and might drive by. Definitely take the Harley out later in the week and make it a point to check.

That only went live in the TriCities a few weeks ago. And only for Johnson City at the time. Not sure that it covers the track yet
Even if it does, surge pricing before and after the game will be ridiculously high. Edit: I think I paid 3x the normal rate when leaving (early) the BG in Nashville. Much smaller crowd and I would assume Nash has many more drivers.

Last week I passed by Lady's equipment and parking is $50 and they got $20 on sign and only a few days after night race. I would say probably race prices.

We got a parking pass from the guy who got our tickets from UT. Apparently it's a tailgating spot, but it does require a shuttle to the game.

We did reserve parking at Shadracks for $50. They are going to have $20 the day of the game if any are left. Burton leased land around the track for parking. Earhart for TN and Redbarn for VT and it's already gone. Been hearing parking close to track is going to be expensive.

Wrong.... Earhart is VT parking and all American and red barn are UT.. The best place to park if you do not have a pass is to cruise the neighborhood behind pit row gas station and liquor store, people will have their yards to park and plenty of room to tailgate for 10-20 bucks. Some are nice enough to loan a toilet for use... If not just find a tree and sorry lady's. Finish line parking is also selling spots for 50 a spot (rip off)... The walk is no closer than the neighborhoods. There is also a church (volunteer baptist I beleive) that has parking for the races at around 15 bucks and its adjacent to Earhart on 11-e. There will be parking on 11-e all the way from lady equipment to the drive in theatre past the track. The neighborhood is located off of 394 behind the pit row conveinence store. Hope this helps some!

Anybody charging over 20$ is gouging. They already made money off 2 races and should be happy to get the additional income. I'm sure the BBB, CofC and BMS people will contact the gouger. They did this some years back to stop the high prices and BPD had to back off their fever pace of ticketing and arresting. Gave Bristol quite the black eye and a lot of bad press.

And you are??? When is the last time you went to a race and parked within a half mile radius?? If you consider over 20 "gouging" I'd suggest to stay about a mile or so from the track and park there. Good luck and let me know if you hear from the BBB.

True. But not everyone is overly greedy. That's why they run shuttles. Park some distance away and hop a bus. With what you're NOT allowed to carry in being close ain't that big of a deal. Also you can park off of the shoulder of 394 for free. Just stay OFF of the asphalt.

I assume tailgating is pretty easy in on of these lots? I have a pass in Earhart. Just want to make sure setting up won't be a hassle
