The only other game that week that is intriguing is Arky-TCU, but i think Game Day would come to Bristol given the venue.

Bama vs Ole Miss on CBS @ 3:30 9/17.

Just announced today first 2 games on CBS. Thought it was relevant here.

Texas Tech-Arizona St
Illinois-UNC
Utah-BYU

With our game setting the attendance record, I think it's highly likely they come to Bristol.

This is great news. My church is hosting a huge Germanfest until late in the evening, and now I will be able to leave "early" without missing kickoff. Last year the game was at 6:00, and I missed half of it.

We'll be higher ranked than all those teams so it makes sense for us to be the pick.

I rarely get up early enough for CGD anymore but has it ever been at a non University site ?

They've started the year in Arlington, TX the last two seasons, so yes.

(Not to mention they do like a bowl game plus the national championship.)

Being the record breaking venue and estimated crowd, do you honestly think Game Day skips that?

I know "ESPN hates us" and all, but nobody in their right mind at that level would ever skip that game given the above conditions as well as the hype surrounding UT this fall.
