The only thing I disagree with in your entire post is - being happy when it's over.
I for one, am absolutely revelling in witnessing all the jealousy and butthurt.
Everyone going is still absolutely pumped, despite all the attempts to bring them down. And why shouldn't they be? They have Colossus there, DVR the game for anything they want to see again, and they're basically going to get to attend the world's greatest tailgate party.

Wish I was able to make it, but wish nothing but the absolute best for everyone that does.
Still, I'm going to miss reading jackasses lashing out.(They don't really care, that's why they keep finding threads to comment on, over and over, blah blah blah).
It just soothes my soul.

And if you want to meet up with some friends, drink some natty ice and have a vague understanding of the UT game, you could just meet some buds behind the old K-Mart building and listen to Kessling on the Vol network. You'll probably have a better understanding of what actually happened in the game that way.

Both schools' grounds crews are supposed to paint endzones tomorrow. UT's crew did the midfield logo, so the checkerboards may already be in.

It is funny to see other fan bases bash this for being done when I have been to the race as it is in my back yard for many years. It is not as bad as people are making it out to be. Like they would not have taken the game to be part of history alone. Here is a photo of the furtherest away

That field is pretty small. I will be there though. Will be bad ass.
