Bring THIS Back, AD Danny White

I went to the first one and had a few problems. Parking was a mess, leaving the venue after the game took hours, and i had good seats, but still couldn’t see well enough. It was a novel concept that doesn’t need to be repeated.
THOUSAND PERCENT my reasons for let's not do this again.
I stayed at my Dad's place. From door to gate at BMS it's exactly 5 miles. Game was over around 10:30 or 11...we rolled into Dad's driveway somewhere around 3am.

My seats we decent as well, but found myself watching most of the game on the 'world's largest jumbotron', so could have just stayed at Dad's and watched on his 80 inch Samsung and got the same effect.

Tennessee plays Syracuse in the Kickoff Classic, a season opening invitational game played in Atlanta and usually featuring teams from the SEC and ACC. Prior to this, the Kickoff Classic had other sponsors and was played in New Jersey. Over the decades, Tennessee has participated a number of times.

Once was enough. I'm glad I attended since it was a historic, record-breaking crowd, but wouldn't do so again. Getting in through security was a nightmare since most fans arrive outside the venue less than an hour before kickoff (unlike race fans). Many people didn't reach their seats until long after kickoff. Our seats were on the 40-yard line, but the action was too far away! The fans in the endzones would have needed extra-strength binoculars. Whether it's a repeat of the UT-VT matchup or any other team, the game wouldn't come close to drawing 150,000 fans a second time.

Almost everyone I know who went was glad that they went just to say they were there but would never do it again citing terrible view, traffic, terrible use of the replay monitor, etc.

Yeah I wouldn’t go again.

The run plays from the seats cracked me up because you really had no clue what just happened, it just looked like 22 guys all scrambling and falling down.

What exactly was the play? How far did he get? Who even had the ball??

Fun fact though: VA Tech fans during that game were probably pretty excited about the future. Just a few months prior they landed a commitment from a 4* QB…. some guy named Hooker.
