Wow...............it's amazing what programs actually consider thanks to the pressure to win.

Seriously?

Name one coach in the FBS who hasn't broken a rule.

In the end, and I quote, "You PLAY to WIN the GAME." I'd rather we take a chance on a guy and win games than sit idle and lose.

Absolutely not. For anyone to seriously consider allowing this cancer on our team is funny and shows their ignorance. He had his chance to be a VFL and passed on it. Kid has issues and the last thing we need is for Da'Rick to have a partner in crime in the WR drama department. Do your homework on a player before suggesting something dumb like allowing Ambles to come be a part of our team.

I'm sorry, but that just makes you and all other people who live by the "VFL" moniker nothing more than little punks. The kid, no matter what petty choices he's made in the past, deserves a bright future. If we can offer that to him, then why not? Isn't that the point of the Vol For Life program? Isn't it supposed to help kids that need the help, and put them on the right pathway to success?

That's basically like you saying, "yeah I want to help the kids, but not that one, because a few years ago, on a whim, he made a decision that upset me."

Let go of your petty spite and look at it objectively. It just makes you sound pathetic. Let him work for Tennessee and let Tennessee work for him. The outcome could just possibly surprise you.

That's a fine line you want to walk to win imo.

There is still something to be said about winning the right way.

We've got Croom, Patterson, Howard, and Bowles coming in. Why would you want to take a high risk player like Ambles who couldn't even make it on a Lame Koffen team. I don't understand the mind set of compromising team unity for a thug. He want be better than what we have coming in.

soooo true

Since you started the thread , where did you hear or read this news? Ambles went from SC to the JC in Mississippi for a few weeks , then out to Yuma. I know he didn't play last season. I just haven't seen anyone saying this but you.

And another thing.... How would we be bringing him back?He was never on the team to begin with. Once again... that you Markeith?

I remember the ustream video he did before signing day. He was talking to players from our team and cracking jokes to Tennessee fans. Asking how mad were we going to be if he went elsewhere. Cory Miller told him straight up , "quit playing and get your ass to Tennessee". He also talked to Ed O during the same video and he told Ambles we were getting Da'rick. Ambles said outloud... "He's not that good though". Boy that is rich. Say what you want about Rogers , but he has proved his talent on the field. People saying we can't turn down a talent like Ambles are fos. What has he proved? Please tell me. He should be a junior by now and has one catch and a switch to DB to his credit. Not to mention switching jc's in a matter of weeks. He has also been booted off the team at SC , brought back and then flunked out. Where is this talent you speak of?
