Bring Coach Cut home and bring Tee with him! Allow him a few years to groom Tee Martin to become HC.

Erik Ainge, I want you in the staff too!

Good lord.

He’s too old to be starting over now.

He’ll retire at Duke as he should.

Right now it’s going to be hard to get anyone. Coach Cut is a Saint and could do more for these student athletes than anyone else. I’m not saying to keep him here indefinitely, I’m saying allow him to have a few years here to help groom a VFL to become the future HC.

We'd do well to welcome whoever the next coach is, at this point. Currie painted us into a corner. He should be on the street right now without a job, or working for the Cleveland Browns.

Lane Kiffin would get the team back on track as a winner. He admitted leaving was the greatest mistake he has made and would welcome the opportunity to right the ship.

Tee Martin... I hope we hire a coach that is, at a minimum, good enough I never have to hear that guys name as a coaching candidate again.

Good god..no!!! He's a great QB Coach and OC but isn't a good recruiter and will insist on bringing that non SEC group of assistants with him. I love Cut but no way. And Tee is a great recruiter but isn't well liked out West and isn't even more than an average OC.

Why would Coach Cutcliffe want to tarnish his career at the end by getting fired?

He did and at one point he would have gladly accepted the offer; however, Lane’s not going to take that risk now. It’s way too risky. For starters, Half the fan base would be against the hire and if he didn’t succeed the fan base would eat him alive. Not to mention, it’s way too risky for the AD too. They’re not about to take that risk during this PR nightmare.

He would never be fired. Cut’s almost done. He’s getting old. He would simply be coming back to help us get back on our feet and groom Tee Martin to become the next HC. 2-3 year contract.

I don’t know why more people aren’t on board with this.

Just read an article that Cut said in a text he's not interested can't really say I blame him. It seems something rubbed him the wrong way during his last stint here it seems.
