i'm not calling you out, but all they did was add brick, decorative brick, around concrete. I've never seen decorative brick that was a foot wide.

I was there Friday night, and on each corner of the south endzone, the walls are probably about 10-15 feet from the very corner of the endzone. If you're goin' full steam and concentrating on the ball in the air, you're in trouble. If you can catch it and immediately look for the wall, you could brace or catch yourself. But the problem was not only did Paige not have the time to find the wall, one, maybe two DB's were going for the ball as well, which sandwiched Paige on the impact. It was a scary sight and I'm glad he's OK.

I cannot believe that the manufacture of the uniforms relate to team speed, that is absurd. I remember Willie Gault playing in uniforms made by Sports Belle in Powell and he had the same speed then as he had in the pros. Nike, UA or Adidas is a personal preference only.

I agree this is crazy.
No other team in the country gets better equipment than Oregon and they are a mediocre Pac-10 school at best. Equipment is nice but to think it translates to wins and losses is insane.

To be honest, that was 20 years ago. Football equipment has taken off like crazy since. Would you prefer our guys wear Bike helmets?
