*****Brice: Fulmer will assume the reins moving foward

Currie and all the academic pencil-necks are the ONES who ran the program into the ground after Doug Dickey left!!!!!!!!

MAYBE the residue of the scourge that was MIKE HAMILTON can be purged from the system and we just might get back on track.....

You BAMA turd-sniffers HATE FULMER just because he WHOOPED DAT AZZ for the majority of his 17 years as the HC!!!

I for one am extremely happy Currie's dipstick rear-end is gone....and hope that Davenport follows soon!

:salute:

The Haslam family hired all of those "academic pencil-necks".

What's funny is all these anti-Fulmer clouts going on about how bad Phil was after 2003. If history is any indication, Phil will start to get complacent long after we're back on top. Until then, I think he will be driven to make a lot of changes for the better like he did when he became the HC.

He could have easily told UT to go F themselves after he got fired. The man loves this school. Give him a chance to right the ship.

He definitely sounded motivated during the press conference.

Fulmer as AD will be a HUGE mistake!

All serious coaches want to know who their boss/AD is going to be for several years and that there's stability at the AD position.

Fulmer is NOT that guy and he's NOT qualified to be our AD.

Blackburn should have been hired as our AD after Hart and most on here know that.

Right this minute, before the press release of Fulmer as our AD, we all need to protest and blow up social media to hire Blackburn as our AD right NOW!

Blackburn is a Tennessee guy and has worked in the AD before and he will revamp our AD, get things in good order and he'll hire us a great coaching staff that knows how to recruit against anyone because he'll know that his job is also on the line.

We all need to be screaming HIRE BLACKBURN NOW and get the fan protest going as fast as we can so we get a good coaching staff hired and they can get busy recruiting good players.

VFL...GBO!!!

Sit the ***** down....my Gosh....if they said up you'd say down...run go have another protest and all 3 of yall start pulling for Florida or something...How about trying to just support what we got right now for once..Its been a long year dude and what was once justified protest is starting to sound like spoiled crybabies cause most of us want Phil as the AD and he is going to do everything he can to help us succeed...fall in line or GTFO

Does Fulmer have the reins of a pig or a run away thoroughbred? I'm not even going to go there, are you?

The Good Ole Boy network of meddling boosters has been the downward spiral of plenty of football programs. If the next HC walks into this same meddling in all things vol football nothing will change because nothing can change.

Big test for Phil... he never liked to hire big splash guys, always wanted to his maintain power base and control. If he has that set of genes still firing inside of him, we get a coach who will need to be "guided and mentored" by Phil.

Like a Chris Klieman? (wiki link)

I was wanting to start a thread about him (can't, not enough posts). Anyone's thoughts about him? Guy seems like a winner. 50-6 record, two national titles, four conference titles. What is the difference between him and Scott Frost (another one I liked)?
