While UT considered Reid Sigmon for interim AD job to replace the fired John Currie, Phillip Fulmer will be named the athletic director at the 4 pm presser, but don't know if full time or interim. With Fulmer at the helm, don't be surprised if pool of candidates opens up.

Phil might as well have peed on the corner of Currie's house and taken his wife out to dinner...lol. Well played i must say.

The real question is, who is Fulmer pursuing right now as we speak? aTm has their man already. Arky will get Sumlin. We need to get Kiffin before FSU does. Come on Fulmer get it done. Forgive and forget. Let's get something good out of this disaster!!!!

I think Sumlin goes to FSU.

On last Sunday's Big Orange Sunday, one of the key things that Coach Mathews mentioned to get UT back on track is to have a "Tennessee Person" in charge of the AD. This at least checks that box.

Holy crap, did we win that battle too? (not letting Sigmon get the job)

There might be something to this Volshevik Revolution!

Chris Low on Finebaum just reported Fulmer met with Doeron the other day. If he was in on that...that’s not good

If Fulmer is AD, expect Miles as HC with Tee as OC/Asst. HC and HC in waiting due to Miles' age. Not ideal but probably would save recruiting class and may be quickest way to recover from the current mess.

I think that would mean he was actually doing his job that he was hired to do. That would be a good thing, imo, and would also dispel any notion that he sabotaged Currie.

I would love that, but I would doubt it.

If Fulmer has gone to all of this trouble, he has a HC lined up and ready to go. He was sent on the trip to Doeren to ensure a crazy offer wasn't made for a p-poor coach. I wouldn't be surprised if a head coach was not announced just before the SEC championship game tomorrow.

Certainly explains why every time Currie picked a phone up to talk to a HC the world knew. Why he kept trying to do his job is amazing.

Currie and all the academic pencil-necks are the ONES who ran the program into the ground after Doug Dickey left!!!!!!!!

MAYBE the residue of the scourge that was MIKE HAMILTON can be purged from the system and we just might get back on track.....

You BAMA turd-sniffers HATE FULMER just because he WHOOPED DAT AZZ for the majority of his 17 years as the HC!!!

I for one am extremely happy Currie's dipstick rear-end is gone....and hope that Davenport follows soon!

:salute:
