Fulmer to be 'Interim AD' until full search is completed for new AD. This will take forever just like the last time.

Les Miles named head coach by Sunday.

He nor anyone else involved in the current mess should have anything to do with this athletic department go-forward

Certainly explains why every time Currie picked a phone up to talk to a HC the world knew. Why he kept trying to do his job is amazing.

LMAO That is the most MISLEADING stat of all time. First half, last half... this is the man who singlehandedly destroyed UT football. :good!:
Sooo, the last coach to win a National championship, only had 2 seasons under 8 wins in 17 years "singlehandedly" destroyed UT football? You have to be joking!

I have said this on other threads. If Fulmer:

- undermined Currie by calling other coaches and advising they not take the job

- was involved in undermining Currie in the interview/hire of Gundy and/or Leach

- goes and hires a coordinator to coach UT

my opinion of Fulmer will be forever changed. Another poster said something to the effect that "he no longer felt he had anything in common with Tennessee fans" and I fell that way now too. People just welcoming Fulmer after what he did to his own alma-mater? The dumpster fire that this has turned in to? That he had a hand in, or fanned the flames of that fire?

Too many of you thinking winning a battle and losing the war is acceptable. There is no dignity in defeat. Losing is losing, even if you root for the person that captains that sinking ship.

Well I don’t think he did it on purpose. Just lost cut, and got lazy on recruiting and day to day coaching. I do think he cares about Tennessee, but his ego may enter in to his decisions. Hope it works out.

Fulmer as AD will be a HUGE mistake!

All serious coaches want to know who their boss/AD is going to be for several years and that there's stability at the AD position.

Fulmer is NOT that guy and he's NOT qualified to be our AD.

Blackburn should have been hired as our AD after Hart and most on here know that.

Right this minute, before the press release of Fulmer as our AD, we all need to protest and blow up social media to hire Blackburn as our AD right NOW!

Blackburn is a Tennessee guy and has worked in the AD before and he will revamp our AD, get things in good order and he'll hire us a great coaching staff that knows how to recruit against anyone because he'll know that his job is also on the line.

We all need to be screaming HIRE BLACKBURN NOW and get the fan protest going as fast as we can so we get a good coaching staff hired and they can get busy recruiting good players.

VFL...GBO!!!

Chris Low just said on ESPN that he's talked to parties on both sides. The character assassination of Fulmer isn't true at all.

I have never had a dog in the pro-Fulmer/anti-Fulmer fight, but this story is BS.

This means Kiffin is out! I believe Fulmer said Kiffin was an embarrassment and couldn’t understand how he would ever be hired as a head coach at a P5 school.
